Chal'Oz, charming and comfortable chalet near the ski slope (90m)

Our cosy, well-equipped chalet is in Oz-en-Oisans, part of the Alpe d’Huez ski area, with around 250 km of pistes to explore.
The Clos du Pré ski lift is just 80–90 metres from the chalet, making it easy to get onto the slopes in the morning. In summer, the chalet is also a great base for walking, cycling and mountain biking in the French Alps.
We have furnished the chalet with care and attention to detail. It sleeps up to 8 people and is a comfortable place to stay with family or friends.

🛏️ The chalet
There are 4 bedrooms, all with single beds, sleeping up to 8 guests.
There are 2 bathrooms:
• 1 with bath/shower and washbasin
• 1 with shower and washbasin
There are also 2 separate WCs.
The living room has a comfortable seating area and an open fireplace. Firewood for the first evening is provided.
You will also find:
• TV with Chromecast
• fibre-optic Wi-Fi
• board games
• children’s books and colouring books

🍽️ Kitchen and dining
The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and eating together. It includes:
• ceramic hob
• oven
• microwave
• dishwasher
• fridge
• small separate freezer
• coffee machine and Nespresso machine
• toaster
• raclette and fondue sets
• plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils
Basic supplies such as oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and a selection of herbs and spices are also provided.
There is a large dining table for meals together.

☀️ Terrace
The chalet has a sunny terrace with mountain views. There is outdoor seating and an electric BBQ, so when the weather is good you can eat outside and enjoy the views.

🎿 Skiing
The Clos du Pré drag lift is approximately 80–90 metres from the chalet.
The lift gives you access to the Alpe d’Huez ski area, with around 250 km of pistes.
There is a private, lockable ski locker next to the entrance for your skis and other equipment.

🔍Good to know
The route to the chalet includes some steps and slopes. This is worth bearing in mind if you have mobility difficulties.
A small handcart is available at the chalet for transporting luggage.

🏔️ Winter and summer in Oz-en-Oisans
Oz-en-Oisans is part of the Alpe d’Huez ski area. From the village, the gondolas and ski lifts connect you to the wider area and its approximately 250 km of pistes.
For experienced skiers, the famous Sarenne offers a long descent from Pic Blanc.
Oz-en-Oisans is also a good base for exploring the mountains in summer.
Walking routes start in and around the village, and the area is popular with road cyclists and mountain bikers. Famous cycling climbs nearby include Alpe d’Huez, Glandon and Croix-de-Fer.

📍 About Oz-en-Oisans
Oz-en-Oisans is a compact ski resort where most amenities are within walking distance.
There are restaurants, pizzerias, cafés, a supermarket, bakery, butcher, ESF ski school and childcare facilities in the resort.
The gondolas and ski lifts provide direct access to the Alpe d’Huez ski area, so you can easily enjoy your stay without a car.

🅿️ Parking
Free parking is available throughout the resort.
Covered parking is available at the Roubier car park for €50 per week.
Covered parking is free in summer.

📬 Before you arrive
Around two weeks before your stay, we will send you an email with all the practical information you need, including directions, parking information and instructions for the key safe.
The key safe allows you to arrive independently and let yourself into the chalet.
A welcome booklet is also provided in the chalet, with information about the property, the local area and the house rules.
