My adult daughter and I spent three days here while exploring the area. The village is small, but there are many outdoor things to do, especially hiking along the coast and the surrounding hills. The lodging is also small, but very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our time there.

Good accommodation, well located.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The accommodation is only a short walk from the shops, supermarkets and pubs in Llantwit Major and the beach area is worth a visit. We had good food in The Old Swan Inn and good takeaways (Fish & chips, Chinese), all in Llantwit Major. The accommodation, although limited in size, maximises its space and we found it clean, with a very comfortable bed. The kitchen, although small, was well laid out, although I did miss having a microwave! As we had very nice weather, it would have been nice to have a rear garden to sit in, but there were chairs and a table in the front garden. There was plenty of on street parking and the area is nice and quiet. I would recommend a key safe. My husband was walking the Wales Coastal Path, so we arrived back at different times one day and a key safe would have given us more flexibility. Overall, a great place to stay and well situated for walking.
