Rural Tranquil retreat

Absolutely beautiful area, stunning views & so peaceful .. We recently retired & had 5 glorious weeks here & will definitely return .. if you are looking for a relaxing rural retreat then this is for you .. very comfortable accommodation .. The village of La Joya is about a mile away has a couple of bars & a restaurant.. but check opening times .. La Joya has no shops . but there is a village 6miles away where you can get everything you need .. also there are more bars .. Resturant’s ..a butcher’s & supermarkets .. you do really need a car

Stunning!

The house surpassed expectations - it was even better than the photos. The location was perfect for us - totally private with no near neighbours, and a beautiful view. The house was very clean , comfortable, and equipped with everything you would find in your own home. After being out and about during the day, evenings were spent relaxing on the terrace with a glass of wine, watching the sun go down. It was totally idyllic in every way. Caminito del Rey is a must - the whole area around El Chorro is very beautiful. All in all, we had a brilliant holiday - a great mix of 'doing' and 'chilling'! Thanks to Jose and his wife for easy check-in/out. Highly recommend!

Ein tolles Haus in den Bergen

Das Haus ist wirklich ein Traum, groß, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, großzĂŒgige RĂ€ume und AußenflĂ€chen mit einer Wahnsinnsaussicht auf Andalusien. Die Betreuung durch die EigentĂŒmer war sehr gut. Leider hat es das Wetter nicht gut gemeint, aber dafĂŒr kann das Haus nichts.

un endroit idyllique, propre, et accueillant

Quel accueil et quelle gentillesse! Un vrai plaisir. De plus, le logement était trÚs propre et idéalement situé. Malgré l'eau déjà un peu rafraßchie vu la saison, nous avons aussi profité de la piscine, et surtout du calme exceptionnel et de la beauté de la vue depuis le jardin. Les hÎtes sont attentifs à ce que tout fonctionne parfaitement, les lits sont trÚs confortables. Bref, si nous devions retourner en Andalousie, il est certain que c'est à cet endroit que nous logerions...

Lleno de bichos de todos los tamaños

La limpieza dejaba mucho por desear La casa estaba llena de avispas abejas arañas y todo tipo de bichos como un escarabajo gigantes todo por no limpiar bien la casa que tuvimos que hacerlo nosotros Seguro que habría mås de una colmenas porque en mi vida hemos ido a una casa rural con tantas avispas, la piscina ni la pudimos disfrutar tuvimos que bañarnos con la manguera

Truly Magical

Booked easily through VRBO who we have used before. We met the owners in the village who escorted us to the property. Sadly, we don't speak Spanish but we managed to communicate ok. On arrival, we were enchanted by the views which were even better than the photos suggested. We loved everything about the villa which is in a beautiful tranquil setting. The pool, which we used every day was great. Shopping for groceries was easy in Antequera and a small supermarket was even closer if needed. The owners allowed us privacy but were at the end of the phone if we needed anything. Thank you Jose for translating and thank you to your lovely mum and dad for looking after us.

Wunderschöner Ort mit atemberaubender Aussicht

Ich kann dieses Haus nur wĂ€rmstens empfehlen. Alles sauber und gepflegt, es ist alles vorhanden, was man brauchen kann bis hin zur SpĂŒl- und Waschmaschine. Die Vermieter sind super-nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage von dem Haus ist sehr abgeschieden, die Aussicht von dort oben ist atemberaubend schön! Besonders die SonnenuntergĂ€nge!

Beautiful place to chill out.

Very relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings the views are lovely just what we needed would stay again in a hart beet. Not for people looking to party but good if you like peace and quiet.

The villa was comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. The outside areas were great, plenty of shade when required, and the pool is a great size. The views are simply amazing and never bored of them. Location is 5 min drive from the village which has a good restaurant and a great base to explore the region. Hosts were very helpful and generous. We would love to return

A therapeutic, stunning hidden gem

My husband and I spent a week of remote working at this beautiful villa in Andalusia. It is a gorgeous secluded spot, absolutely stunning views (including magical sunsets), great facilities and the perfect place for a getaway. It’s an hour’s drive from Malaga, the nearest town La Joya has a cute tapas bar, and then for groceries shopping, 25 minutes drive is Antequera, which is also a nice spot to explore! JosĂ© and his family are the ultimate hosts - really helpful and kind and we highly recommend them. Another huge plus was the internet connection - we worked seamlessly on video calls for the week with no issues. We did try to swim but unfortunately it was too cold - if you go in peak summer, you’ll have more luck! Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Super séjour à la Joya

Que dire sinon que tout a Ă©tĂ© parfait. Villa au top, nos hĂŽtes au top, la rĂ©gion merveilleuse, bref que du bonheur. Nous fĂȘtions nos 20 ans de mariage et c'est une rĂ©ussite. On a dĂ©jĂ  prĂ©vu de revenir.

Le calme et le une vue magnifique

Superbe sĂ©jour, dans une maison calme, avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. Un gazon arrosĂ© tout les soirs, trĂšs agrĂ©able et vert. Les hĂŽtes sont trĂšs serviables, et accessible en cas de besoin. Une chambre double et une chambre avec deux lits simple. Chaque chambre a une salle de bain, faire attention Ă  la consommation d’eau chaude pour tous (petit rĂ©servoir). Au passage, la literie est top Doubles terrasses, barbecue
 Le sĂ©jour est trĂšs reposant. A 3 minutes du village le plus proche, 15 d’AntĂ©quera, et une heure de Malaga (trĂšs facilement grĂące a l’autoroute). Attention, la voiture est obligatoire pour ce genre de location, pas de voiture trop basse car les routes peuvent ĂȘtre un peu bosselĂ©es. GĂ©nial pour un sejour entre amis (5 max) famille, ou couple. JosĂ© est trĂšs arrangeant sur les horaires selon ses disponibilitĂ©s. 10/10 au top je recommande grandement.

Smukt og Ăžde

Vi boede 8 dage i Hortelano, huset pÄ bjerget, i januar, og nÞd den utroligt smukke udsigt over bjergene og det enormt hyggeligt indrettede hus. SkÞnne sovevÊrelser med store, lÊkre dyner og fine badevÊrelser. Joses mor tog vel imod os, og var sÄ sÞd at komme med lÊkker olivenolie til os, da vi havde glemt at kÞbe - tak:) Vejret blev ret dÄrligt deroppe, meget koldt og blÊsende, sÄ de sidste dage savnede vi lidt lune og at kunne vÊre udendÞrs - og det tager ca 25 minutter at kÞre ned til Antequera, hvor der er indkÞb, butikker, cafeer. En virkelig hyggelig by. Det er ikke nemt at gÄ tur i omrÄdet oppe ved huset, da det er meget Up-downhill. Overordnet er det et supersmukt sted, og vi ville gerne opleve det i varmen, da poolen er helt fantastisk - men der er ikke sÄ meget at lave, hvis man er til at vandre for eksempel. TrÊnger man til ro, naturskÞnne omgivelser og at vÊre helt privat er det perfekt. SÞde vÊrter.
