You see the sea, You hear the sea!

You see the sea, You hear the sea!
If you can throw a stone 30 m far, you can throw a stone into the sea standing on the verandah! Our house is in the second row from the sea, and in a safe and friendly environment. A five minute walk will take you to Platz am Meer, a shopping centre with lovely restaurants next to the beach.
Three bedrooms (1 room with king size bed and on suite bathroom, 1 room with double bed and one room with two single beds) and a second bathroom are upstairs, as well as a desk area. Downstairs you will find the light and open living area with an inside barbecue area, kitchen and guest toilet. All the comforts of a normal household are available: dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, stove and oven, fridge, microwave etc. Bedding, towels and toiletries are included.
The double lock up garage provides a safe place for your car.
Free WiFi, flat screen TV with the full Dstv package.

My husband (civil engineer) and I (lecturer, Afrikaans and Dutch at the University of Namibia) bought this home in November 2017 to have a home away from home - and away from the inland heat! It has become our holiday home. Our children are grown-up, and join us from time to time.

Why they chose this property

When I was house hunting, I looked for a place from where we could see and here the sea, and have a 5 minutes walk to the beach. But we also want the luxuries of a household because we want to relax, watch TV and use internet. My husband works from home, and I like to get away when I need to concentrate to write articles or study guides.
For the last 30 years we visited Swakopmund occasionally and always wish we had a place of our own. And the dream has become a reality! We are very grateful.

What makes this property unique

The layout of the house as such that it projects a relaxed atmosphere, although you can enjoy the privacy of your comfortable room.
