Comfortably furnished with great attention to detail, this first-floor condo with stairs to entry, is truly fabulous. Near the edge of a bluff overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean, this condo also commands spectacular views Bali Hai, the north shore landmark made famous in "South Pacific."

The spacious lanai is very inviting. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful panorama while tropical breezes gently caress you. Here is an ideal place to have a morning cup of coffee or cool beverage any time in total comfort and, of course, enjoy the sky's varied hues at sunset. Many windows also bring this sensational scenery indoors.

A telescope has been thoughtfully provided to enhance distant views and offer the opportunity to see, up close, an occasional boat sailing by as well as Kauai's marine life. Frequently, playful dolphins offshore can be seen "showing off." During winter, giant humpback whales visit the Hawaiian Islands from Alaska to the delight of visitors and kama'aina alike.

In Princeville, there is a wonderful variety of restaurants with delicious cuisine and tempting menus. A short drive down the hill takes you to Hanalei, a charming town with many small shops and galleries as well as additional delectable eateries. No doubt, you will want to spend time at the crescent-shaped beach at Hanalei Bay, one of the nation's most highly rated beaches.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo exceeded our expectations! It is very large and decorated very nicely. The windows overlook the ocean from two sides and offer the most amazing large views. Wow! Wow! Kitchen well equiped, lots of towels and beach toys. We appreciated the chairs, umbrella, cooler and adult snorkel gear.Very well cleaned and move in ready when we arrived. Will definitely stay here again.

The locations is amazing. The view is stunning. The condo is very spacious. We snorkeled at Hideaways beach, surfed Hanalei beach, hiked, explored, and relaxed. The coffee and view from 1Hotel next door is very good.

The property was ideal for our family of 4. It was located right in a very quiet area and at the end on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. Gorgeous Views in Princeville

This condo has it all. A/C, washer, dryer, and all accessories, appliances…plus, being a corner unit, there is a panoramic view of Mount Makana (Bali Hai) out the back, and Pali Ke Kua from the kitchen and eating nook. Walking distance from 1 Hotel Hanalei, as well as Hanalei Bay Resort. Near great restaurants, and above Hideaways Beach. Wonderful location in Princeville!

We had a great stay at the condo in Pu'u Poa. The views are incredible and the house is awesome. Our family enjoyed eating breakfast sitting at the dining table and watching the ocean. Fantastic location and condo layout

Aside from the potential difficulties for some individuals of 30 stair-steps (6 up, 24 down to go from the parking lot to the front door), this is a very nice condominium with stunning, unobstructed sunset views from the living room & lanai and great northern views from the dining room for whale watching. It was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing, with the wonderful benefit of being visited by three to five Nenes every day!

North Shore Kauai - Princeville

The pictures online don't do the size of the condo justice. I loved the layout of this unit. Very spacious and plenty of room for our family of 4 to stretch out and not be on top of one another. The 180 degree views of the ocean are amazing and we spent every night enjoying the sunsets. Proximity to the Princeville Resort could not be beat. We enjoyed the short walk over to the resort to patronize the lobby bar with its unbelievable views of Hanalei Bay. Will definitely book this unit again on our next trip to Kauai. Note: Only problem we ran into was the electric grill on the lanai did not work (kept tripping the GFCI outlet). Was not a big deal for us since the kitchen has high end Wolfe appliances which were a pleasure to use.

Must stop at mgmt office in Lihue to pick up keys (and return at departure), even tho there's a lockbox on front door of condo. Lots of parking.ALL units require going up/down steps to access since complex is built into a hill. For this unit you go down three 8-step flights.Mgmt responded positively and promptly to our request to address goose droppings on porch. windows were all spotless. This is ground-level unit, from which you can walk out onto grass and to the cliff (only a dozen yds away). Thus, a little less privacy (neighbors walk along cliff) but that’s small price to pay for incredible views.This unit offers absolutely best, breathtaking, views of Bali Hai and Napali coast, especially impressive at sunset.TVs/DVD players in living room & both bdrms. Wi-Fi easy to access, reasonably fast (up to 120 mbps off-peak, about 50 when busy).Several interior doors were split/peeling. Otherwise, facilities in good condition.Master shower huge, great water flow from showerhead, could use some grab bars. Bathroom exhaust fans a little noisy. A master bath sink drained very slowly.We also had a minor problem with bugs in the unit. Lots of plates/silverware, cooking utensils, pots/pans, coffee maker, etc. Lots of knives, but sadly none were sharp. Lots of outlets for charging. AC worked great. No recycling bins. Highly recommended
