This charming corner unit at Sealodge sits atop the cliffs on the North Shore of Kauai. A gangway leads you from the parking lot level to the unit's 2nd floor which overlooks a protected canyon greenbelt. Relax with a Mai Tai on the lanai above the tree line enjoying the view of the Pacific Ocean while you’re serenaded by a symphony of tropical birds in the plumeria, banana, and coconut trees below. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of an albatross gliding on the gentle trade winds or whales spouting below in the shallows.

This one bedroom unit his been completely updated from its original 70’s decor. Extra care has been taken with the smallest details. The owners want you to feel as ‘at home’ here on Kauai as they do when they visit from California. The unit boasts a tropical theme, accented by richly upholstered rattan furniture, hardwood deck, and views from every window.

The kitchen includes appliances including a radiant cook-top, washer-dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. The comfortable queen size bed in an elegantly decorated bedroom will be a welcome sight after a day of exhilarating outdoor activities. The living room affords great style and comfort including a retractable screen door to allow the trades winds to gently lull you to slumber. Sit back and enjoy a DVD rented from the local supermarket in Princeville or channel surf the flat-screen TV. There are also beach chairs and beach towels provided for each guest.

We loved our stay!

Princeville is a perfect place to stay on the north shore. We loved that we had the opportunity to use the Sealodge beach from this property. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We would stay here again!

Loved the condo, so many thoughtful items for the kitchen and bath made staying seamless. Layout was tight but an easy work around. Loved the lanai, great views and so comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo is clean, comfortable, and sweet. We enjoyed walking the trail to get to Sealodge beach, a beautiful cove with calm waters and great snorkeling. The location is picturesque and beautiful and it was a quick drive to Ha'ena and Hanalei. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything.

The Sealodge is cute and quiet. All of Princeville is great, but the best of Kauai is outside the resort villas. It does not have AC, but with the breeze and fans the nights are chill.

You have to check in a get the key in Lihue,then drive 45 minutes to the condo. It's a beautiful setting and the furnishings,etc appeared brand new.

Just a note that if you're booking thinking you'll have beach access via the trail, the trail requires some rock climbing to get to the water and is moderately hard.

Lovely apartment

This is a very clean, lovely apartment in a great location. The only thing I did not like about the apartment is that the bathroom doors are like closet doors. The door is not solid, so there’s not much privacy. Other than that, it was a great apartment.

One of our best stay

I'm glad I booked this unit instead of the other two with better ocean view in the same subdivision. This one has tree line view in a valley right out of the balcony and mountain view afar with waterfalls. Also, the buildings are well designed along the cliff, feels like every step is the scenery. Although the location is a bit far from majority Scenic spots which are mostly located on southwest part of the island, still conveniently close to grocery shopping, farm markets, beaches, etc. Another unforgettable stay in our journey.

It was clean and had a cooler, snorkel equipment, boogie, and an umbrella. It is in a nice location. We enjoyed eating at Hanalei Gourmet and Chicken in a Barrel, both had very good affordable food. Hiking the first two miles of the Kalalua trail is a must to see the beautiful views of the island. Snorkel at Anini beach to see the turtles

It was nice having a secluded beach a short walk walk away. Cooler, beach mat, beach chair we're unexpected touches that made my stay more comfortable. While I did not cook, it was great to have the option with a very well equipped kitchen. This was not my first stay at Sealodge and won't be my last.

I did daily walks down to princeville beach..... rain or shine.... I was able to prepare my own meals and enjoy my view of the water. So many beautiful clear nights ..... and those late evening showers were like the island was washing itself too shown all the beautiful healthy life that surrounds the island. I want to thank the wonderful women of Kauai vacation rentals... you ladies are terrific ❤️

Wonderful stay on the North Shore of Kauai

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo Sealodge B9 is in a beautiful, quiet location away from the main road. The complex overlooks the cliff with gorgeous sunrises. The unit was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need including beach chairs, snorkels, cooler etc. The only issue during my stay was that the pool was closed due to maintenance. During the winter months the best beach for swimming and snorkeling on the north shore is Anini Beach. Gorgeous setting and views you will find at Hanalei Bay and Haena Beach park. KVR team is great to work with and I have been booking through them several times now and will do so again.

A trail is on property with a 10-minute hike to a secluded beach. Great ocean view from property overlook. The only thing was foot thumping above us, kind of annoying till we got used to it. I recommend and would stay here again. It is much slower and comfortable in Princeville, north shore, vs Poipu area. There are 3 charcoal grills across parking lot from pool. More important B-9 had great pots and pans, SO NICE for cooking, Thank You.Everything was great overall.
