Enjoy your visit to Santa Fe in a modern, detached guest house in a recently-built family compound located in a quiet, family neighborhood. Close to the downtown plaza and walking distance to Museum Hill (3/4 mile), our guest house is bright and cheerful with superb New Mexico vistas. We offer a full kitchen for guests who might like to cook a quiet meal at home, high-speed Internet and a television with Roku streaming. Santa Fe stay

Gary, the property owner, was so nice and very welcoming. The casita was perfect and very nice. We felt safe in the lovely neighborhood! I would definitely stay again and recommend this property if you are traveling to Santa Fe. Perfect location and very quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful Guest House

We stayed several days at this guest house. Our stay was peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains. The house had everything we needed and was close to downtown Santa Fe and hiking trails.

Perfect place for our Santa Fe visit

My husband and I needed to get away from it all and Santa Fe did not disappoint. Our first time to stay in SF and Gary’s & Bee’s Guest House was the perfect spot for us. We met both of them during our stay, both expressing that we could contact them for any needs we had (we didn’t have any). You walk by their house to get to the guest house, but still have all the privacy you need. The house was perfect, just as described. We didn’t cook there, but in looking around, it appears you would have all you need for light cooking. The TV is a bit small, but is adequate for a little downtime in the evening if you have streaming accounts (which we do). The bed is comfortable, albeit fairly low to the ground. The house is clean and inviting with a pretty perennial garden lining the entry walk. It felt like coming home every time we returned. Being a little outside of the city proper, you can’t really walk anywhere, but everything you want to see or do, including grocery stores, are just a short drive away. We would definitely recommend Contemporary Guest House and might just stay there again ourselves!

Clean, Quiet Santa Fe Casita

The casita was very clean and very quiet. It was nice to get away from the hubbub and tourists. The views from the unit were lovely. The host was very communicative and thoughtful. I'll definitely book this place again!

Convenient and quiet

We enjoyed being in this space! At the edge of town away from the fray but close to everything. Perfect for 2 people with nicely stocked kitchen and view of the hills. Great communication and easy check in and out.

Christmas in Santa Fe

We enjoyed staying in this lovely guesthouse during our Christmas visit to Santa Fe. The snowy view from the living room was beautiful. The location was great for us because we were close to local family members, Museum Hill and Canyon Road. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

Comfortable and very welcoming

The property was perfect for my needs. The kitchen was well supplied, the linens and furnishings were clean and comfortable. The surroundings were comfortable, the views were terrific, Bee and Gary were responsive and helpful, always available, but at the same time, giving me my own space and privacy. The location is perfect for seeing old Santa Fe, including botanical gardens, museums, the plaza, coffee shops, arts and jewelry. Really ideal for my needs. I hope I have a chance to stay there again. I am grateful for hosts such as Bee and Gary.

Great Experience

We had a great time in Santa Fe and this was the first time we used a VRBO and it was great experience. The property was in a perfect location to everything we came to see. It was private and very quite. The owners were very kind and nice to deal with. We would recommend them for anyone who wanted a nice stay in Santa Fe. Thank you Gary and Bee

Perfect place for a getaway

My husband and I had the best time in Santa Fe staying here! The guest house is fully equipped - we made breakfast every morning in the kitchen, there is a big bathroom (toiletries included), and decent size bedroom and living area complete with WiFi and Roku. The house is basically down the street from museum hill, and only a few minutes to downtown and some great restaurants. I'm from Dallas where everything is at least a 30 minute commute, so I found the location and ease of getting around perfect and stress free. Can't say enough good things!

NM Vacation

The outside of the house looked nice , the views were amazing , it was clear where you could see all the stars at night, the sunsets and sunrises were very beautiful. The inside of the house has been neglected over the years it needed a lot of TLC. The bedroom was too crowded with the table and chair. The bed with just the mattress was uncomfortable and hard. The stove needed to be fixed so you would not have to light a match to light the burners. The shower needed to be cleaned better. The vent in the bathroom was filthy , my husband cleaned it out, there was so much dirt that came out of it . For the number of nights that my husband and I stayed there should have been enough towels and wash clothes for the entire time that we stayed not just the two towels and two wash clothes. The lock on the door was complicated to use, keep it simple. Bee did let me wash some clothes in her washer so that was nice of her letting me do that instead of going into town and washing clothes at a laundry mat. I appreciated that.

Worthy of Ten Stars!!

The was the best of the dozens of short-term rentals I have had. The casita is thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and well maintained. Radiant heat in the floors, unlimited hot water, great lighting, including in the kitchen (unusual for a rental), high quality utensils, etc. Along with the other, usual factors, these things account for the first five stars. The other five are for the hosts, Gary and Bee. I became ill during my stay, and I found them among the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met, even though I was a complete stranger. They went out of their way to check up on me, offer and provide help, and adjust the booking on the fly when I was too weak to travel. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
