Beautiful cabin on one of Minnesota's clearest lakes.
Enjoy your summer get away with your own private beach with 2 private docks. We have free use of a canoe, a kayak, 2 paddle boards or you can rent the pontoon for your stay. Extra chairs to sit around a campfire at night.
Lake Shamineau has up to 20 feet of water clarity. Our Cabin is on the mostly undeveloped northern shore. The back of the cabin is protected by 3.5 private acres of woods and trails.

We are a family of five, and we have owned our cabin for over 10 years now. We have added on an addition and completely remodeled the place inside and out. Most of our early memories of our kids involve something associated with our cabin. It has been the perfect place to get away for our family or to host family and friends. Our kids are now fully involved in multiple activities, bday parties, camps etc and we feel like it is too nice of a place not to get used more often. We love to hear when our friends and family tell us how they look forward to their time at our cabin. We hope that other people can have the same experience as well.
Why they chose this property
We picked this property and Lake Shamineau as it was the perfect combination of a south facing private lot, quiet clear lake and far enough away from the cities to feel like you are truly up north.
What makes this property unique
We mostly enjoy the variety that our cabin offers. One day the kids are playing in the water, the next on the beach, the woods, fishing, or playing ping pong and games on a rainy day. Every day offers something fun to do away from electronics and with the whole family involved.
