Very comfortable well appointed chalet with a great hot tub!
The Mont Blanc apartment at Chalet Miravidi easily accommodated our 2 families with 4 older teenagers. The apartment was beautifully finished with 2 wet rooms and 2 separate toilets - plenty of hot water for the 8 of us but water pressure was an issue at times and only 1 person could shower at a time - however not really a problem as the excellent hot tub and sauna was put to good use so spacing out the need for showers at the same time.
All 4 bedrooms were of decent size and the beds were very comfortable.
The kitchen was well equipped and Karen also kindly provided a raclette grill and Nespresso machine on request.
The whole apartment was warm and comfortably furnished with fairly easy access to a blue run to the Montchavin lift via a short walk through the garden - however with the poor snow conditions skiing down to the lift would prove difficult for the less experienced skier however the ski bus stops at the bottom of the road as an alternative.
Our hosts Karen and Matt were very friendly and helpful and sorted any minor issues very swiftly and always available for advice re restaurants and bars etc.
Montchavin is an ideal base to explore both La Plagne and Les Arcs (via the Vanoise Express situated just above the chalet) and we would thoroughly recommend the Chalet Miravidi for any future holidays.
