Happy in Honolulu

We were so happy with this Ilikai perch. This is the quiet end of Waikiki and we always stay on this end. The space was exactly as represented in the listing photos. It wasn’t perfect but vacation rentals rarely are.

STUNNING views! A gem!

Very comfortable and updated condo. Views are breathtaking. 18th floor and quiet. 2 beds in the same area as living area and kitchen. All open space but totally comfy. Would definitely recommend and definitely return!

The views were great. Bed was comfortable. I thought the couch was a “sofa” which means it opens into a bed (definition of a sofa) but it wasn’t. Also the couch is super uncomfortable as it’s broken. Very hard to sit and watch tv!
Beautiful views
The cushion of the couch is broken and bent. It’s not fixable / can’t make it flat. Super uncomfortable

Mahalo for your review Mina. We apologize that we couldn't get the new sofa in before your stay, but the sofa has been replaced! Now you can enjoy sitting on the couch & watch tv comfortably. Hope we can welcome you back again in the future.

Beautiful location overlooking marina and the ocean

Beautiful location overlooking marina and the ocean. Ocean is literally few steps down. The building itself is very comfortable, it has a couple of small shops, gym, an ice-cream place, a restaurant and a lot of other useful services. Nice clean unit with AC and full kitchen. Beds are clean and comfortable. Fridge is big enough is you are with your family and planning to pick up some groceries and cook dinner. Just don't forget to buy salt and pepper and cooking oil )))

Not a one bedroom

It’s one room not a one bedroom. Minimal amenities, not even salt and pepper. No cleaning supplies, dishwasher soap for one load. I guess my expectations were too high for over $500 a night. The towels and linens need replacing. Oh one last issue, take a look at the vent in the bathroom.

Mahalo for your review & feedback; the condos are considered a 1-bedrooms at the Ilikai Hotel, but some owners opted to remove the sliding divider to make it look like one large studio. We do not provide cooking supplies like salt/pepper, oil, etc and provide a starter set of amenities like soap, paper towels, etc. We hope you still had a great time in Hawaii! Warmest Aloha & Mahalo!

Ilikai 1806

Another wonderful stay at the Ilikai and this unit will be saved on my return list! Lots of drawer, cabinet and closet space. Thermal drapes kept the hot sun out in afternoon. The view was great and higher unit kept it quiet. Loved the 360 view from Pesca on top floor and extensive menu as well as nightcap bar. Sad we only made it there once. We had a perfect week of weather and the trade winds helped! Morning walks to aka moana and magic island were just enough workout for me! There’s a new food truck spot nearby, charter house was yummy higher end and live music Friday. Outback is closed. Mahalo!

Gorgeous view and great location

The view was amazing. We really enjoyed staying here. Its only a few steps from the beach and further away from the crowded Waikiki area but close enough to walk there if needs to . The only complaint we have was the lack of supplies. For a 6 night stay for 4 people, we were provided with 1 load of dishwasher soap, 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 partial roll of paper towel, 1 set of bath towels. No beach towels, bath towels replacement, nor laundry detergent provided. Though the view made up for these shortcomings.

We couldn’t agree with your more, the Ilikai location is AMAZING! It’s truly the best place to stay in Waikiki. The unobstructed views that you get from morning to sunset are gorgeous! We appreciate the feedback regarding the supplies that we provide to you. We do provide 4 sets of towels and an extra toilet paper roll, paper towel, etc. so they couldn't been hidden in the closet. We are Marina Hawaii Vacations & we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Warmest Aloha & Mahalo!
