Had to book a hotel room

I entered this apartment to find the bathroom had not been cleaned; the tub was full of hair (which the landlord claimed as hers when I showed her photos, as if that makes it better) and the sinks had very clearly not been cleaned either. The response to my complaints about a lack of cleaning in the bathroom, a room I find essential to be thoroughly cleaned upon my arrival at any property I rent, especially during a global pandemic, was disappointing. I was told that the kitchen had been cleaned for hours and that the bathroom wasn’t that bad. Will not be attempting to stay here again, didn’t stay here this time; I booked myself into a hotel without staying a single night.

Klein appartement in een netjes appartementengebouw, half uurtje lopen naar het uitgaansgebied. Flink aan de prijs. Let bij in- en uitchecken heel goed op de eventuele gebreken, leg alle vlekjes, scheurtjes, loszittende of klemmende onderdelen of andere mankementen goed vast. Wij hadden een vervelende discussie over het terugkrijgen van de (stevige) borg

Vervelende discussie ... door de fout van de volgende klant. Maar die werd dan toch heel grondig uitgezocht en opgelost nietwaar ? Wij vonden het ook vervelend, maar ik ken het appartement wel als eigenaar. Het poetspersoneel niet altijd helemaal helaas maar is ook super eerlijk. Spijtig dat U dat niet vermeldt, de moeite die wij doen om alles op te lossen. En de eerlijkheid van onze poetsdame, die mij gesmeekt heeft om zelf te komen kijken omdat ze twijfelde. En ik die daar 400 km voor gereden heb ... . Door deze 2 voelen we ons niet gewaardeerd.

Das Wohnung ist gut gelegen und man kann alles - insbesondere den Strand und die Promenade" zu Fuss erreichen. In der näheren und weiteren Umgebung gibt es viele Möglichkeiten der Freizeitgestaltung.

Chouette appartement mais quelques détails à améliorer

L'appartement est bien situé et l'emplacement de parking dans l'immeuble est un vrai plus. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour mais avons cependant rencontré quelques problèmes de logistique: 1 jeu de clefs pour 4 personnes, pas de connection internet (celle proposée est celle de la commune de Knokke), pas de poêle, des ampoules cassées, pas de crochet pour pendre les draps de bain et pas de porte-manteau. En ce qui concerne l'esthétique des lieux: il n'y a rien à redire, si ce n'est un placard non peint dans le hall d'entrée et un mur à moitié détapissé à la suite d'un dégât des eaux survenu il y a, apparemment, quelques temps déjà.

Un peu déçue du logement

Nous sommes déçu car l’annonce n’est pas totalement vrai. Nous n’avions pas d’internet dans le logement, nous devions prendre nos draps et il n’y avait pas de poêle pour cuisiner...L’appartement était propre (pas de lampe dans le frigo, un des deux chauffage en panne, l’armoire du hall pas peinte et aucun endroit pour pendre nos veste, nos essuies). l’accueil était bien et la propriétaire gentille.

Was super.... aangenaam appartement met parking in het gebouw. Op enkele passen van de zeedijk. Bakker, slager, viswinkel .... in de nabije omgeving. Vatbaar voor herhaling.

Schöne Küche, ansonsten enttäuschend

Wir hatten dieses Objekt für eine Woche gebucht. Die Fotos und die Beschreibung der Wohnung machten einen modernen und freundlichen Eindruck. Der Urlaub begann mit einem Telefonat mit der Vermieterin zwecks Absprache des Übernahmetermins. Das Gespräch gestaltete sich etwas schwierig, da die Vermieterin kein deutsch spricht, obwohl es so in der Anzeige beschrieben war. Auch wußte die Vermieterin nichts von der Bereitstellung von Handtüchern und Bettzeug, was ebenfalls in der Anzeige stand. Wir haben diese Sachen schließlich selbst mitgebracht. Im Eingangsbereich fanden wir einen hässlichen unfertigen Schrank, der noch nicht gestrichen bzw. tapeziert war, vor. In dem sehr kleinen Badezimmer funktionierte die Spiegelschrankbeleuchtung nicht (beide Birnen defekt). Ebenso ist hier kein einziger Handtuchhaken vorhanden. Das Schlafzimmer ist auch sehr klein und nüchtern und hat ein großes Doppelbett, in das man aber nur von einer Seite einsteigen kann. Die offene Küche ist das eigentliche Highlight der Wohnung, allerdings war der Arbeitsbereich nicht beleuchtet, weil hier alle 3 Spots fehlten. Ebenso funktionierte ein Teil der Beleuchtung über dem Esstisch nicht. Der Boden war in der gesamten Wohnung mit dicken Staubflocken bedeckt, und man weiß nicht, warum man viel Geld für die Endreinigung bezahlt. So viel zur Funktion und Sauberkeit der Wohnung. Aber auch ein Fernseher ohne einen einzigen deutschen Kanal ist für uns uninteressant, ebenso wie ein ungesichertes langsames WLAN Netz. Wir konnten uns in dieser Wohnung nicht erholen und sind 3 Tage vorher abgereist. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass wir die ersten Gäste in diesem Jahr waren und die Wohnung vollkommen unvorbereitet war. Einen Stern gibt es für die gute Lage der Wohnung, den zweiten für die schöne Küche.

Wij verhuren een appartement, geen 5* hotel met roomservice. Dat moet in elk geval duidelijk zijn. In Limburg heb ik een prachtige b en b en ben ik zélf zowat dag en nacht bereikbaar, maar aan de kust zijn het dus ... appartementen. Hetgeen impliceert dat daar als ik die op zondag poets en verlaat er de volgende zondag wat stof ligt. Kan men daar niet tegen en moet alles dagelijks gedaan worden, dan zou ik U willen aanraden om een hotel te boeken dus. Ook de schilder komt in Knokke helaas dus niet 's nachts, zeker niet voor één enkele kast : wij hebben een nieuwe hallkast geplaatst maar ... deze was nog niet geschilderd ... wat voor deze gasten een on-over-ko-melijk probleem was ... in de hall dus. Wat betreft het feit dat er blijkbaar wat weinig Duitse TV-kanalen zijn : dat is mogelijk, ik zal dat zo snel mogelijk eens bekijken, hoewel ik dus betwijfel of er veel vraag is naar ganse dagen Duitse TV-kanalen ... in Knokke. Ik ben zeer verheugd te lezen dat mijn appartement uiterst goed gelegen is en een zeer goede keuken heeft. Persoonlijk vind ik het ook een uitstekend bed (een Auping met dure latex-matrassen), maar ik besef dat slapen een individuele aangelegenheid is (wat de een goed vindt, is voor de ander te zacht of te hard ... en omgekeerd ook dus). Naar huis gaan 3 dagen eerder ... omdat de hallkast nog niet geverfd was ? Tja, wat moet men daarop antwoorden ? Het is voor mij moeilijk te verstaan dat er mensen naar de zee komen om binnen te zitten en Duitse TV te kijken en zich storen ... aan de mooie nieuwe maar nog niet geverfde ... hallkast. Maar dat gebeurt dus allemaal. Zéér heldere verlichting nodig? Persoonlijk vind ik dus vind dat het al baadt in het licht, zelfs wat té (wat op de foto's duidelijk te zien is) maar ook dat is dus zeer individueel. Ik hoop maar dat de volgende het niet TE helder gaat vinden .... En ja, ik spreek niet bijzonder goed Duits, maar versta gelukkig toch alles. Ik spreek ook overigens geen Chinees, geen Russisch, geen Spaans en geen Swahili. Ik vraag mij af wanneer dat gaat nodig zijn ... om een appartement in Knokke-Zoute te verhuren dus. Neen, alle gekheid op een stokje .... Mij bevalt dit ding, ik ben een Zoute-fan en dit is inderdaad een appartement op topligging met alle gemak van een inpandige ruime garage, en het strand bereikbaar door gewoon de straat over te steken. That's it!
