Located in the foothills of the French Ardennes, against the Argonne Forest, in the charming village of Apremont. One of the areas in Europe with the cleanest air. Beautiful rolling wooded hills, meandering rivers, lots of wildlife such as wild boar, deer, beavers etc. Fantastic environment for walking, cycling, culture to taste, culinary trips and unwind. Autumn is also beautiful in the French Ardennes, nature is then brilliantly changing color. There is a very well-respected Auberge in the village. At 7.5 km from Apremont lies Varennes en-Argonne where you will find a supermarche, two bakeries, a health center and restaurants.
You're in the heart of the region, with lots of impressive beauty at close range:
Verdun is located at three-quarters of an hour and in Reims and the champagne area with over an hour, with 1.5 hours you are in Luxembourg city and Paris is reachable in 2.5 hours.
The house has been completely renovated, from top to toe, with love and attention to detail. Professionally painted. By (partially) breaking away walls, a good balance has been created between the different rooms. You can choose to be in contact with each other or to find your own place, for example in the closed media room. There is a beautiful handmade cream colored kitchen with a large work island, both with a worktop of Belgian bluestone. Stove with wok burner and oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher are present. The kitchen and dining room have black steel frames and a steel garden door to the outside.

In the sitting room is the original rosette ceiling preserved, as well as the original marble fireplace for which a wood stove is placed. Open staircase upstairs is the original staircase that has been completely renovated. The entire house has original French panel doors. The interior is modern classic.



New comfortable box jumping beds in a total of 4 bedrooms, also here the wooden floors are extended. The bedrooms on the first floor both have a (non-working) chimney. On each bedroom there are two beds, on the upper also a cot. From the stairwell is one

Two bathrooms, on the 1st and 2nd floor, with natural stone and a designer sink. Both bathrooms are equipped with a toilet, a sink and a shower. Upper two bedrooms have the original frames in sight.

A separate media room on the ground floor, lovely lounge corner sofa with TV (also German and Dutch channels). Wifi in entire house.
