Uros Balsero Provides experiential tourism services in the highest navigable lake in the world Titicaca. Our rooms are built of cattail and wood, the cattail is an aquatic plant of the lake, which for many years served as food, clothing, firewood, houses, chosa, bed, transportation and many other uses of our Uro culture.
Uros Balsero was the first floating island based on totora roots formed for thousands of years.
With Uros Balsero you can do different activities such as artisanal fishing, craft exhibitions where you can participate, we teach you how to build our typical totora rafts and you will take with you as a souvenir, you will have unforgettable experiences of our culture, uros builders of the natural floating islands in the Sacred Lake Of the Incas.
The Inca Empire was born in this wonderful Lake with incredible views and historical ceremonial sites of the Incas.
Uros Balsero is the starting point for all the Tours of the Lago destination where you can buy tourist packages to the floating islands of the uros, Taquile, Amantaní, and tourist routes around Lake Sillustani, Chucuito, Amaru muro, Pucará, Lampa, Capachica Llachon these tours have an additional cost not included in the price.
