About this property
Garden room near Portobello
I offer a comfortable double room, only for one person, with French window opening onto the garden. My garden apartment is located on the ground floor of a two-story house in the residential area of Kensal Green near Portobello. You will have access to the bathroom and to the kitchen (or you can have lunch, cook), as well as to the garden. Access to the living room is not included in the rental because it also serves as an office. My apartment has two bedrooms, mine and the one I rent. I live alone, with my three Mooch cats, the Artist and Nona. My apartment benefits from double glazing, central heating, hot water at all times and a pretty garden at the back overlooking other gardens. The room is therefore very quiet. The bedroom for rent has a double bed, wardrobe, shelves, desk and chair. It is located at the end of the apartment, with direct access to the garden through a French window, thus giving it a very private character. Note that the apartment is non-smoking, but you can smoke in the garden. Cafes, restaurants, gastropubs are a few minutes from the house. The apartment is minutes from the metro (Kensal Green-Bakerloo Line and Willesden Junction) and the Overground (Kensal Rise and Kensal Green). This allows you to easily get to the city center (15-20mn), Euston (17mn), Kew Gardens or Richmond (20mn), Camden (20mn) and many other places.

The check in process was simple, the room is spacious and clean and the host and her daughter were kind and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again in the future!
I had a lovely stay! Regine communicated all the information before the visit and all went well staying in her place. The flat is clean and homey in the best ways. I appreciated the little things she did like having tea bags and a tea cup in the room. She and her cats were lovely. I highly recommend.
Reginé is a lovely host with her two beautiful cats One definitely must be comfortable with the feline as it’s quite obvious cats live here Reginé was very helpful to me when I had questions about (close) transportation into London -Bakerloo Line straight into London- really couldn’t have been any easier! She made certain I was comfortable Much appreciated!
Regine’s flat was great! She was extremely helpful and explained things clearly and concisely. The place was easy to get to by the Tube. Nice stretch of the legs from the station to her house through a lovely neighborhood. The garden was particularly lovely to return to at the end of the day. Good food options nearby. The check-in process was easy and Regine was quick to answer any of my questions. I fell in love with her two cats, Nona and Jiji.
Such a lovely and comfortable home. I’ve never slept so well as I did for the 16 days I spent in Régine’s guest room. So quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of the back garden.
The property is very well placed for short walks to the tube, overground and busses, as well as grocers, cute shops and delicious restaurants. I’d recommend Harvest for breakfast and The Island for dinner.
Régine was always available through text and phone if I needed anything, even before I arrived. She was very knowledgeable about how to navigate London and had wonderful ideas of places to visit.
Her two cats, Nona and Gigi, are just the sweetest girls ever. I admit, I did try to fit them in my luggage when it was time for me to leave ;)
I 100% recommended this lovely room! It’s an oasis after a long day of site seeing.
Wonderful looking house set in lovely quiet residential area so everything is very nice and relaxing. Bedroom was warm, clean and comfortable. I had space to do yoga and meditation on comfortable carpet by the window. Regine is a super host who made my stay pleasant and enjoyed my privacy at the same time.
J’ai passé une belle semaine dans cette chambre qui donne sur un petit jardin. Rien à dire !

Beautiful room with garden view. Home away from home.
What a lovely place to stay. Régine has really thought of everything one might need in the room. Mooch and Nona (the two cats) made me feel right at home. It is a quick walk to the underground, overground and busstops. A few grocery stores close by as well. I was surprised to see how many vegan options the shop on the corner of the street had. Régine was a very good host and I had a wonderful stay here with her.
