Plover Cottage Lindley. Little Gems to accommodate you
My place is situated in the heart of Lindley, a village on the outskirts of Huddersfield. It is a few hundred yards from a variety of local amenities that the village has to offer. It is 10 minutes drive from the town centre (1.9mi) and a very short drive to junction, 23 and 24 of the M62 motorway.
Close to public transport, the city centre, parks. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families

Lovely little cottage, very peaceful and tidy, had all commodities that you could need and the beds were very comfy. Was perfect for a one night stay for 3 friends. Host was great and helpful with everything. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.
We were greeted by the very friendly, helpful owner and shown around the apartment. It was spotlessly clean - the cleanest accommodation of our 6 week travels. The kitchen was adequate, certainly for breakfast and heating ready meals - not sure I'd want to try and cook anything too significant as the equipment was basic and no condiments etc. as supplied in some properties we have stayed in. With 3 of us, there were only enough plates and cups for one meal, so lots of dish washing - we didn't want to use the dish washer for such small loads. Note that the second bedroom is very small and only has skylights - no photo on the website so we didn't realise this. My mother-in-law found it a little claustrophobic. In spite of the above, we would have given this a 5 star rating had it not been for one thing: the Lindley clock tower is very close and it chimes the quarter hour from 6am to 11pm, and hourly from 12am to 5am. We did get used to it, but the vent in the main bedroom window is missing its cover, so the clock seems very loud during the night. Apart from that, Lindley is a lovely area, with a Sainsburys Local very close, and a lovely meal available at The Lindley Tap.
