Coco Beach Penthouse w/private pool! March & April 2025 Available.

Thanks for the kind words - it was great that you enjoyed your stay and hope you will return soon! We are constantly updating the place.

Thanks for the kind words John. We were just there doing maintenance and were happy to see 5th is expanding northward with some interesting restaurants and shops - we are no longer at the 'north end' of 5th. Hope to see you back soon. Peter

Glad you enjoyed your stay with us in Playa. We love sharing our condo with fellow travelers who seek a more authentic experience instead of the highly curated all-inclusive resorts (which are great, but a different experience). We'd love to have you back anytime!

Glad you enjoyed our condo and roof deck with private pool. As you know from your prior stays in Playa, it's growing fast with a vibrant atmosphere which is why so many folks choose Playa for their holiday. The Meridian is located in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in what is now a cosmopolitan city that continues to expand with new interesting shops, trendy restaurants and bars, and luxury condos.

So glad to hear you enjoyed Playa and our condo. We love the roof deck and while Meridian's rooftop community pool is great for socializing, having a private splash pool is a special retreat after a day of exploring Playa. Mexico is all about spending time outdoors. Our condo has over 1200sf of private deck and terraces

Thank you so much for finding us on VRBO and we're happy that you enjoyed your stay in Playa and our Condo!

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay at our condo and you enjoyed exploring Playa. It’s such a great town - we love it there and are always happy to share with great guests such as yourselves. Come back soon!

Thanks for the kind words. You captured many of the reasons we purchased the condo and look forward to spending more time there in the near future. In the meantime, we enjoy hosting guests like yourselves who stay for several weeks. We plan some upgrades over the off season so look forward to having you return next year!

So glad you enjoyed your stay, and good to hear the internet exceeded expectations. Altgough we have catered to travelers, we are getting more inquiries from 'nomads' and will make some changes to make our place more work-friendly. There is a small town in Central Yucatan known for furniture. After the 2023 season, we will see about a pair of small computer desks in each bedroom.

Thank you for your kind words. We too fell in love with the location and the outdoor spaces. We are very pleased with how the remodeled roof deck turned out and are happy to hear it suited you and your partner. We hope to see you again soon!

Thanks so much for staying with us, and happy to know you enjoyed your stay in Playa. Utilities in Mexico are simply not as reliable as they are in the US or Canada so our building is investing in upgrades. One of the brief water outages during your visit was due to a larger tank being installed which will reduce the issues, at least for our building. Being environmentally sensitive is important to us: we have replaced all 4 toilets with low-flow high/quality ones, and we’ve installed solar panels for our condo (about 2/3’s of the electricity used during your stay came from the sun!). We hope you will return soon for another escape from the cold winter up north!

Merci beaucoup! Thank you for finding us -

So good to hear your family enjoyed themselves in Playa (especially our condo). We look forward to your return someday soon!

Thanks for review. We have the best internet service TelCel offers in our area, but with Playa’s growth, sometimes things get stretched, especially at the holidays. So glad you enjoyed your stay. Please come back soon!

Thank you - Sharing our home on VRBO was a leap for us but we’ve met so many nice people like yourselves along the way! We looked all over Playa and really fell in love with the Coco Beach neighborhood because of the reasons you mention: it’s convenient and pretty quiet. We look forward to having you return someday soon!

Thank you so much! We work very hard to create a special, enduring memory for our guests. We have traveled throughout the world and look for special experiences so we try to share with fellow travelers. We are so grateful to have your acknowledgement that on some level, we succeeded. We hope to have you both return sometime soon!

So happy to hear you had a great trip, and I hope it will be long remembered amongst your friends and family that visited. We plan some nice upgrades to the roof deck over the summer, so if you return next year, it will be even better! Thanks - Peter

Thanks Jim and Joanne, and glad you enjoyed your stay. We will be making some upgrades to the roof deck over the off-season to make it even better, including another BBQ in addition to the BBQ on the terrace near the kitchen/dining room. .

Thanks for the kind words! Many buildings in the Coco Beach area had water interruptions over the Christmas holiday when Aguakan, the water company, reduced flow for several days. Thankfully, our building has back-up water reserves to minimize the inconvenience. The condo does not have an ocean view but does have tons of windows, a private roof deck, and is in a prime location to experience Playa's urban vibe yet be close to the sea. We believe this offers exceptional value compared to beach-front condos. Indeed, we have several upgrades planned, especially for the roof deck. We look forward to your return! Peter
