“The Coast is Clear” is a newly remodeled single level home featuring a large fully equipped chef’s kitchen with quartz counters, gourmet 5 burner stove, dishwasher and an open floor plan connecting the kitchen, living area & dining room, all with stunning ocean views. The dining room slider opens to the south/west facing patio overlooking the entire 180-degree view including, the Pacific Ocean, golf course greens, Doran Beach, Bodega Head and the inner harbor. The house has 6 steps leading up to it, once inside it is a single level house.

The patio is large and has multiple seating options including Adirondack chairs and a bar table/stools, all well suited for your morning coffee, evening sunsets or just watching the golfers shank their approach.

The Living room has beautiful vaulted ceilings and oversized view windows with newer furnishings including large Italian leather sectional and beautiful copper and glass coffee table, gas fireplace and 65" smart TV, with Comcast cable, premium channel package and high speed WIFI Internet access.

The master bedroom overlooks the golf course and has a beautiful ocean views. The Hot tub is located in a private patio off the master bedroom. The hot tub is cozy and suited for 2-3 persons at a time. The home has remodeled bathrooms and master bath has a large walk in shower & Jacuzzi tub. Both bathrooms have double sinks and custom tile throughout. The home has wonderful lighting from the skylights in just about every common area of the house. The house has washer/dryer, gas bbq and top quality towels and linens.

The home is a well laid out 1750 sq/ft with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The game room in the garage adds an additional 400 sq/ft of space. The master bedroom offers a queen sized bed, the second bedroom has a queen sized bed and the third bedroom has 2 sets of bunk beds with 4 twin sized mattresses.

IMPORTANT!! Please keep in mind that the beds for guests 7 & 8 are the upper portion of the bunk beds and are accessed by climbing up the ladder.

Maximum occupancy for the house is 8 people. Please no parties, wedding parties, receptions or large groups.

Game Room in the Garage: Cars cannot be parked in the garage as it has been converted to a awesome game room and offers fun for all ages. The game room has a TV, Retro arcade game table that plays games from the 80s like Pac Man, Dig Dug, Donkey Kong and games from the 90s like Mario Brothers. Over 600 Games total. The room also has a electric keyboard piano, pop-a-shot 2 player basketball, foosball, ping pong table and more. Beach items: Beach towels, blankets, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys.

Accessibility: The main front door has a total of 6 steps to get into the house. 3 steps, a landing and 3 more steps. Once inside, there are no more steps as the house is 1 level. There is a second entrance on the side of the house into the bunk bed room. This has only 1 step onto a landing and then 1 more step into the house.

The South Harbor location of the home is super and the house is on the quiet of the cul-de-sac and is therefore subject to less traffic and noise than many other homes in the development. It is just a short 5-minute Walk to the beach..., a couple of minutes to the restaurant and the golf course, the basketball courts and more.

The house is pet (must be approved) and very kid friendly, but smoking is not allowed!

Bodega Bay is a great place to get away from it all or simply have a quiet spiritual time. If it is a romantic weekend, special occasion, or you are just looking for a place to reconnect with self, family, friends and nature, look no further, this is your place.

What do we/guests love most about the home? The house has a very open uncluttered feel with all the sunlight from skylights/windows and vaulted ceilings along with the tremendous panoramic views. and the game room!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Strip the bed sheets &put on top of the washing machine. wet towels should be hung on hooks in the bathroom or spread out to dry. Garbage &recycling take outside to the Cans. Load and Start Dishwasher
Heater: turn off the heater. Turn off all lights. Game room. Make sure everything is off. Including, game console, piano, basketball, TV. Windows and doors are locked. Keys back in the lock box.
DEPOSIT REFUND: We are frequently asked, when will we get our deposit back. The answer is: the deposit will automatically be refunded in 7 days after you check out by the website rental service.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please read the Hummingbird Rental Agreement and Handbook. Let us know if you have any questions.
Refusal to sign the rental agreement within 3 days of the house being booked will result in the cancellation of the reservation.

We loved "The Coast is Clear!" It was perfect for our long weekend getaway of two families with elementary school children. The location is great, both for enjoying the adjacent golf course, and access to local amenities/ town. The game room was a huge hit with our kids. The place was immaculately clean, and the beds were very comfortable. We'd definitely visit again!

Awesome Bodega Bay Experience!

Our families first time to bodega bay and this property was gorgeous and perfect for our family of four and would be great for even a much larger family. The kids and us had a blast in the game room and the wife and I enjoyed coffees and evening cocktails out on the deck with the stunning views of the beautifully manicured golf course and bay. What an amazing trip we had. The pictures do not do it justice. The home was beautiful and very clean. Everything you need is there. We had 4 teenagers with us and even they had a great time. We never heard...I'm bored! They loved the 'game room". We look forward to going back in the future.

Beautiful getaway

The house is a very beautiful home, located on a golf course with a view of the ocean. The living room was surrounded by windows, allowing you to enjoy the view and to enjoy the natural light. The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to prepare meals when choosing not to go out. The description and photos are exactly as the house is. And the game room is great for children and adults of all ages.

We are pleased to present our Bodega Beach home for rent. Bodega Bay has always been one of our favorite beach spots, just over 1 hour away from the San Francisco Bay Area and one of the easiest beaches to get to. Unlike many beaches in the Bay area that are accessed by winding curvy roads, it is a completely straight shot to get to Bodega Bay. The drive from the Bay Area takes you up the 101 through Marin County and then through rural Petaluma and the many farms and green pastures. When you arrive in Bodega Bay, there are dozens of beautiful beaches and wonderful out door opportunities but Doran Beach is one of the nicest beaches around with beautiful sand and a seemingly endless walk from one end to the other.

We chose to own a house in Bodega Bay because it is a close to our home and a wonderful escape from our normal urban grind in the bay area. We are sure that you too will enjoy your time in Bodega Bay. There are so many wonderful activities as well as the chance to just do nothing.
