Mayfield View, a 6 bedroom, cedar clad holiday home located in the picturesque village of Mayfield and a wonderful choice for large groups and families who are looking for a holiday or short break exploring the Peak District National Park and surrounding areas.

Just 5 min drive from the market town of Ashbourne and 20 minutes from Alton Towers Theme Park, this beautiful home features a stunning kitchen / dining room with retractable glass doors and stunning views of the valley.

Private walled garden with stunning and uninterrupted views of Mayfield Valley and ample parking.

The property comfortably hosts up to 16 people with 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 6 WC’s, 2 lounges and a stunning kitchen, dining area.

The house has gas central heating, fibre broadband, WIFI and the 2 lounges are fitted with HD TV's, Freeview, cable TV, CD, radio, bluetooth stereo speakers and additional sofa beds.

The gardens include private lawns, a large patio with loungers and well-behaved pets are welcome. Sorry, no smoking inside of the property.
Modern home comforts are in the kitchen with Neff double oven, wine fridge, microwave, plate warming drawer, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and an induction hob set in a large marble island cooking and breakfast bar. The dining area comfortably seats 16 persons for breakfast / dinner. Open the glass doors and you can eat al fresco.
The utility area includes a washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities, bed linen and towels are all included and travel cot and highchair are provided on request.

There is a secure garage for storage of your bikes and outdoor equipment and a wireless alarm system throughout the house.

HAPPY DAYS

Stunning location, warm, comfortable a perfect place for our family reunion. The kitchen became the focus for much joy, laughter, discussion and banter cuisine. Thank you for providing the ideal place for wonderful weekend.

My 70th birthday bash

Took our children, partners & grandchildren for 3 nights in Mayfield view. On the whole we’re very pleased with the property. One shower not working, batteries gone in smoke alarm and one toilet not flushing properly. But on the whole enjoyed by all.

Group of walkers

Had a great stay at mayfield view. Property was superb with plenty of space. Location was ideal, great local pub within 5 min walk (Royal Oak) serving great food, and Ashbourne only 5 min taxi ride away. Would definitely recommend this place. Thanks lisa.

Amazing house for large groups

We recently visited for a hen party. There were 16 of us and there was plenty of space and bathrooms. The kitchen area is amazing, we could all comfortably sit around the table and hang out in there with room to spare. The door open to have a lovely flow through to the garden which is a complete sun trap with amazing views out the countryside. Comfy beds with good pillows etc. The owner was great and communication while we were there was with her team who live close by and resolved minor issues extremely quickly. Two mile walk to Ashbourne and there’s a pub in the village with a big pub garden five minute walk away. Aldi is also really close by via car. One thing to note is there are neighbours close by so after 10pm you need to be inside with the doors shut. Thank you so much for having us. We had a brilliant stay.
