Neat, clean, close to beach, restaurants and train station.

Sandy and George were great at getting us settled in and comfortable. The apartment was clean and nicely equipped. It was a short walk to the beach and restaurants as well as to the train station. We had a great time in Torremolinos.

Needs more information for Guests and Honesty from Host

Property is not completely as described. You cannot relax on the large terrace as the single rattan two seater has no cushions, so after a few minutes you find it more comfortable on couch in living room. The sliding door to the terrace cannot be opened from the outside, this was never explained to us (there are no instructions provided for guests at the apartment), so we accidentally got locked on the terrace. A locksmith needed to break into the apartment and this incurred a cost. We offered to pay more than half, which we did directly to the locksmith. After we left the apartment the host tried to charge us again for the full amount through VRBO, which we disputed. It could easily have been a family with small children that were locked on the balcony, which would be extremely stressful. Also, the swimming pool is only open from 11am to 8pm and this is not mentioned. Apparently the host did not know the times the first time we asked her. The lights in the second bedroom were not working, and the water heater had been unplugged as maybe they don't think guests deserve a hot shower. A few dishwasher and washing machine tabs would have been nice also, and maybe some proper towels for the pool as people who travel from overseas may not have room for bulky items like that. As you can tell we did not have a great stay here, and with only 1 previous review we should have seen this as a red flag.
