A real gem
Great host. Easy to feel nd and handy location for Norfolk and Suffolk. Apartment spotlessly clean, cosy and had everything 2 people need for a comfortable stay. Quiet location and very comfy bed meant we both slept better than we usually do when away.

Very comfortable stay
We arrived to a lovely welcome from Aileen. The cottage is very clean and contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen is well equipped and lounge chairs are very comfortable. Bed ok and bathroom was very good with lots of hot water at good pressure. Tony was also an excellent host and we enjoyed sharing our interest of history with him. Definitely recommend this as a great place to stay

Lovely holiday home for couples
We were met by Tony and Aileen on arrival and shown around the property which was lovely and clean. They also left us a welcome pack and a few treats which were well received. The annexe itself is detached from the main property and there is a nice area for seating outside on the patio. The property was well equipped with very good quality cookware/towels/bedding etc to ensure we had a comfortable stay. They even provided shampoo, shower gel and handwash. The hosts are friendly and on hand if you need them but not at all intrusive. Overall, we had a really nice stay here and would definitely recommend it to other couples looking to stay in the area. Thanks Tony and Aileen and hope to see you again.

About the host

Hosted by Tony & Aileen Kilbee

Host profile image
We are a retired couple who moved to Suffolk after spending 23 years in South Africa. We are very active; Aileen is a past President of the local WI and Tony is the Chairman of Finningham Parish Council. Aileen is a very keen gardener and Tony is interested in history (amongst other things) and is a guide at a local Stately Home during the summer months.
We enjoy meeting people and do all we can to make their stay in our Annexe as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Why they chose this property

We go out of our way to ensure our guests have a memorable stay in our Annexe and go away with the desire to return (we have had a number of returning guests).
Although we leave our guests to "do their own thing" we are always available to take care if any queries or worries that they may have.

What makes this property unique

There are a number of alternative venues in this area for your stay but we feel that The Old Chapel Annexe is a very special place. It is in an ideal spot to visit many destinations of interest, from the coast to historic sites (Sutton Hoo for example) to fantastic shopping (Norwich) and a number of exceptional eating houses.
Visitors have been bowled over by the facilities and level of comfort we provide.
A warm welcome is awaiting your arrival.
