About this property

4 person holiday home in STUREFORS

This delightful holiday home is set in idyllic surroundings outside of the little town of Åtvidaberg. It is a traditional Swedish country cottage, renovated but with the original charm kept intact. It features a large, 40 square metre terrace and a delightful balcony with a white picket fence. The view is terrific , this is the perfect place to relax and enjoy life! The bottom floor features a kitchen with brand new appliances and a pleasant dining area. In the family room you will find a comfortable sofa suite and a flat-screen TV. There is WiFi in the house, up to 10 gb per week.The attractive, newly-renovated bathroom ( including a washing machine) is also located on the bottom floor. A winding staircase takes you up to the second floor hall and two bedrooms with a single bed in each. The garden offers plenty of lawn space and borders on the forest, open landscapes and pastures, with wild animals, birds and deer. A short walk of 75 metres will take you to your private dock and the boat that is included in the rent. The area offers a beautiful countryside, with a forest, lakes, walking paths and wild animals. The charming town of Åtvidaberg is close. You will be about an hour's drive from Tåkern, one of Sweden's most famous bird-watching lakes. Or why not take a day trip to Linköping and Norrköping ( 25-45 kilometres) and go shopping or sightseeing. Other places to see are Kolmården's Wildlife Reserve and Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby, both about 1,5 hours away by car. Please note: No dogs allowed! Welcome to this charming holiday home!

Das Objekt ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt abseits von Ortschaften. Leider verläuft die Verbindungstraße (aus Schotter und Sand) zwischen den benachbarten Orten direkt vor dem Grundstück und wird sehr zügig befahren. Der dazugehörige kleine See konnte leider zum Baden nicht genutzt werden, da der Steg von Seerosen umringt ist. Aber Bootfahren und Angeln war gut.

Die Lage dieses Sommerhauses ist einmalig. Wer Natur, Tiere, Wald und Seen mag, ist hier am richtigen Ort. / Das Haus bietet alles, was man für einen entspannenden Urlaub braucht. Vor allem hat uns der grosszügig gebaute Sitzplatz gefallen. Die Bootsrunden auf dem See waren wunderbar und das erfrischende Baden im See sowieso.
