A recommender.

About the host
Hosted by Louise Walker
We realised our dream in 2017 - a holiday home in the Pyrenees. Originally from Scotland and Northern Ireland we currently live in Hampshire, England.
Why they chose this property
We first fell in love with the area after being skiing to Ax-les-Thermes. We loved the low key friendly feel of the resort and it offers plenty of scope for us and the children to enjoy for many years to come. We looked at many many houses and were nearly ready to give up when we came across this place, it had such a warm and welcoming feel and added to that was the fact that the famous Grotte de Niaux was visible from the garden, a place my husband had studied in depth through out his university years and always wanted to visit, we felt it was meant to be! There is so much to explore and discover, wether it is hiking, caving, water sports, cycling, skiing, history and castles there is something for everyone!
What makes this property unique
A excellent local restaurant with-in walking distance, La Petite Auberege de Niaux.
