Kitchen is a chef's dream with a high end 6 burner gas Thermador range, oversize Thermador side by side Refrigerator/Freezer, Solid Teak Island, Farmhouse sink, open concept flow from kitchen to living area.

Roof deck that is 1200 sq ft of unobstructed ocean views. Complete with Restoration Hardware Couch, Oversized umbrella, Big Green Egg BBQ, fire pit, and outdoor dining table with seating for 6. Perfect for outdoor dinners while watching the sunset, or late night relaxing under the stars.

Many beach items provided in the home: 3 Beach Chairs, Beach towels, 2 boogie boards, umbrella and cooler for your beach days.

Amazing house and perfect location

The House was absolutely gorgeous. It was in perfect condition, incredibly clean and had everything you would need for the beach and for cooking. In addition the outdoor space was gorgeous! Dana, the owner, was incredibly nice, communicative and responsive. The House was perfectly located to all the towns and great beaches. I plan on staying there again for my next trip to the area.

Fun north coast home

Comfortable and convenient north coast location. Well appointed and well decorated with a long view of the ocean. Ready for guests - the owner thought of the details to make it easy to stay. Can hear the freeway but the house has airconditioning to keep everyone comfortable.

Great vacation house & wonderful host

My family and I stayed at Dana’a house for 4 nights. We had a great time and the house was perfect for us. Dana was very responsive and helpful with questions. She even purchased beach chairs to arrive during our stay when I asked about beach gear! The house is perfectly appointed and very clean. It is a short walk to town (although up/down a hill). There is a roof deck, lots of entertainment for younger kids, and plenty of comfortable sleeping set ups for 6 people. We had a great time!!

Fabyulous stay!

What a great place! We had a wonderful stay while in town competing at the Del Mar Horse Show. The owners were super helpful - answering every question/suggestion we had and helping us with wonderful recommendations for food et al. The home is darling and made for a very comfortable stay. We loved coming home at the end of a long day and watching the sunset from the roof deck, while grilling our "cardiff crack" (the best marinated tri tip EVER), and drinking a nice bottle of wine. Donna was very easy to work with and made the stay so pleasant - we loved the hydrangeas she had placed throughout the hose - made us feel pampered! Thanks again - we will definately be back!

Cardiff Vacation

Spent almost two weeks in this property. Dana was fabulous to work with, the house looked exactly like the pictures, and everything was a breeze. We've spent a lot of time in the SD area over the last 10+ years but this was our first time to stay in Cardiff. We loved walking to shops and restaurants - even if we did not always enjoy the walk back up the hills! But it was a great workout. Tremendous views from the house and the rooftop deck. Great kitchen. Clean house. Everything was top-notch. We would definitely stay here again. - Tom

Cardiff Rocks!

This property is complete with every amenity you could need and very comfortable to stay in. Our family of 4 enjoyed each kid having their own room with a Jack & Jill bathroom with private toilet/shower room. The master bedroom and bathroom are equipped with a super comfy master bed and a good size bathroom also with a private toilet room. We utilized the chef's kitchen for breakfast before heading off for the day. The home is very well situated, close to the beach and close to the other great SD beach cities, but also near the main artery for travel. We needed to be in Del Mar and Oceanside for soccer most days and the Cardiff location was perfect. The street this house is on is very cute with updated construction and nice neighbors. Beach cities are bustling but our stay was very peaceful and we ere able to relax!

Great home base in Cardiff

We loved the property and location! Although a short drive to the beach the amazing ocean views from the kitchen and roof top deck more than made up for it. We also enjoyed time in Cardiff with great beaches, food, and other towns to explore nearby.

Wonderful Stay!

The house was just as represented. It was perfect for our Labor Day stay. It is connected to another house, but that never remotely presented an issue. The owner was incredibly responsive and gracious and generous. It was a very wonderful stay and I would stay again if the opportunity presented itself again.

Great place, great host!

We enjoyed it! Just plan on driving or ride sharing back up the hill if the are little ones or others with trouble on inclines. Easy walk down to beaches, market and restaurants.

Great stay for young family

Traveled recently with our <2 year old. Very child-friendly property, lots of open space, clean, bright. Easy walk down to Pipes for breakfast or the Seaside Market and plaza for food or relaxing. Very accessible and responsive owners for any interim trip needs. Would recommend!

Our July summer visit

We pulled up to a beautiful house with plenty of room to unload. We then enjoyed the house for four lovely days. The big green egg took a little bit of instruction review but once the grille heated up we had a lovely dinner. Only item was I wish the cable package contained TVG since we were their for Del Mar opening race weekend. The WiFi worked great and I watched TVG from my phone. We did use the A/C at night and Nest control was easy to use. In addition , Beach chairs and boogie boards made seaside beach very enjoyable as well as the backyard zip liner for our five year old niece. Dana was an awesome host and helped us immediately with any questions. We will come back again if house is available.

Would Book This Again In A Second

This kid-friendly house was the perfect getaway during COVID times where there are enough rooms/levels for everyone to have a place for remote school and work. The open floor plan made for a great environment for our stay and the roof deck makes for a great escape when you can take a break. We enjoyed the walks in the neighborhood, fantastic park within blocks and of course the great access to the beach just down the hill. Dana's (owner) level of responsiveness is like nothing I have ever seen before with VRBO and she was on the spot with answers to any needs/questions. We would 100% return to this property.

Beautiful relaxing home

We had such a wonderful time in Cardiff. This home was perfect for our family. The rooftop views are amazing. Our host Dana was also on top of everything with great communication. We would definitely stay here again! You have to go to the market and get some Cardiff Crack to grill up and enjoy!

The property is exactly as portrayed in the pictures. The property is very attractive and comfortable. I did not plan on cooking but after seeing how well appointed the kitchen was I had to do a little. The rooftop view is spectacular and an easy walk to the beach or market. We loved our stay
