Schöner Urlaub

Sowohl das Gebäude als auch der Garten sind wunderschön. Wir haben uns mit 11 Personen sehr wohl dort gefühlt.

Wonderful stay in a very relaxing and welcoming place with a lovely host

We had an absolutely amazing time. The place is really special and absolutely fantastic for a holiday with the extended family. Paul and his wife were exceptional hosts who looked after us so well. Thank you so much and for making us feel so welcome!

Toller Gastgeber, aber Gebäude zu heiß für Sommer

Schöne Lokation für eine große Gruppe, aber schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, sollte mal wieder renoviert werden. Leider konnten wir die ersten zwei Nächte nicht gut schlafen, weil es sehr heiß war und keine Möglichkeit da ist in einigen Schlafzimmern zu lüften (keine Fenster). Es gab keinen Whirlpool, wie in der Beschreibung beschrieben, was wir sehr schade fanden. Die Sitzgruppe draußen konnte man leider auch nicht nutzen, da die Tischplatte überholt werden muss. Der Zugang zur Kirche ist etwas zugewachsen und die Kirche steht nicht so frei, wie es auf den Fotos aussieht. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und der Kontakt hat sehr gut geklappt.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit nettem Besitzer

Wir können nur gutes und schönes von unseren drei Übernachtungen bei Paul in der Kirche berichten, alles mit sehr viel Liebe gemacht, viele Fahrräder zur Verfügung, die Hühner waren auch super! Gerne wieder!

Einzigartige Location

Wirklich tolle Location für ~3 Familien oder eine große Gruppe Freunde. Riesiger Innenraum im Kirchenschiff, der aber sehr intelligent aufgeteilt ist um trotzdem sich aufzuteilen zu können. Ausstattung ist auch sehr komplett und der Vermieter Paul ist sehr nett und entspannt. Ganz klare Empfehlung

Wohnen in einer Kirche

Paul hat mit der umgebauten Kirche einen Ort geschaffen, der mit viel Liebe zum Detail und bei der Bewahrung des Ursprungs des Bauwerkes einen Aufenthalt verspricht, der seinesgleichen sucht. Ein besonderer Ort mit einem tollen und hilfsbereiten Vermieter. Wir haben jede Stunde in diesem besonderen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Feriendomizil genossen. Ein Ort, der Lust darauf macht noch einmal zurückzukehren.

Gemütliches Ambiente mit fantastischem Garten

Eine kommodig umgebaute Kirche, die einer größeren Gruppe genügend Platz und Ausstattung bietet. Dazu eine ausreichende Anzahl Fahrräder mit „Brotmotor“ (Bio-Bikes), die gut funktionierten. Die Kinderfahrräder waren allerdings nur teilweise funktionstüchtig. Der Vorgarten und die höher gelegene Seitenterrasse luden zum Verweilen ein. Die sanitären Anlagen waren sauber und gut gepflegt. Multimedia Ausstattung und Snookertisch vorhanden. Obwohl zentral im Ort gelegen sehr ruhig. Zum Deich am Wattenmeer ca. 2000 Meter.

Ein außergewöhnliches Feriendomizil

Wir haben uns, mit unserer Familie sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung der umgebauten Kirche lies keine Wünsche offen. Zum Kochen war alles vorhanden. Es gibt in der Umgebung sehr lohnenswerte Ausflugsmöglichkeiten: Harlingen, Leeuwarden mit dem Aquazoo , und Franeker. Es gibt genügend gute Fahrräder, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Gerne wieder! was für ein Traum

wir waren in einer einzigartigen, traumhaften, geschmackvollen, wunderbaren, idyllischen, individuellen Location. Die Kirche, also das Ferienhaus, der Garten, die wunderbare Terrasse (die noch in der Beschreibung fehlt), Fahrräder für jeden, die Ausstattung -- zusammengefasst -- es war wirklich alles spitze. Paul (der Vermieter) hat uns jederzeit (auf unseren Wunsch) mit seinen Kenntnisse (über die Umgebung) aber auch mit seiner Hilfe (für den Grill) stets sehr freundlich und hilfreich zur Seite gestanden. dieses Objekt muss man lieben - bis zum nächsten Paul -- wir freuen uns schon heute

Een heerlijk weekend gehad in een sfeervolle accommodatie, een bijzondere locatie!

Heerlijk sfeervol ingerichte vakantieaccommodatie, een voormalig kerkje, daardoor een bijzonder en origineel verblijf! Wij waren met 8 personen, en hadden met onze groep goed de ruimte. Leuk dat er meerdere plekjes zijn ingericht om te kunnen zitten, de biljarttafel was favoriet, zeker voor de jongelui! We komen graag eens terug.

Fantastisch verblijf in sfeervol omgebouwde kerk

De kerk is smaakvol en gezellig ingericht. Alles royaal aanwezig, van keukengerei tot fietsen voor iedereen. Prettig/gemakkelijk contact met de eigenaren. Veel mogelijkheden voor wandelen, fietsen en bezoek van leuke plaatsjes.

Prachtig en sfeervol!

heerlijk weekend gehad. We verbleven met 2 gezinnen (8 personen waarvan 4 kinderen) in het kerkhuis en hadden alle ruimte! Fijne ruimte om lekker binnen te blijven om spelletjes te doen, te koken / bakken , te relaxen. Voldoende fietsen aanwezig om er op uit te gaan. Bijvoorbeeld uitwaaien langs het wad. Verhuurders zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Wonderful family holiday in Friesland

We had a lovely stay in Oosterbierum. Paul, the host, was very friendly and helpful providing tips where needed. The property provides for everything you need. Ample space inside and outside. We especially enjoyed the garden with the chicken and the BBQ as well as made good use of the bicycles that are being provided. We also loved the fact that there is a community garden in the town where you can pick your own fruits and vegetables for a small donation. Can only recommend this place especially also with children.

Super für eine große Familie

Es war alles so wie wir uns es vorgestellt hatten. Die Kinder hatten viel Spaß. Paul und Chris waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit .Die Kinder haben schon gefragt ob wir das bald wieder machen .

Familienurlaub

Wunderbarer Urlaub in einer wunderbaren Umgebung und Unterkunft. 1,5km vom Deich entfernt liegt die großräumige Kirche, die wir gut zu siebt bewohnen konnten. Geschmackvoll, hochwertig eingerichtet, mit allen nützlichen Dingen ausgestattet. Den Vermieter Paul hätten wir gerne immer als Nachbar!

Wie im Paradies

Wir haben in dieser liebevoll restaurierten und sehr gemütlich eingerichteten Kirche einen wunderbaren Urlaub verbracht. Einige vorher geplante Trips in die Umgebung haben wir sogar gestrichen, weil es schöner als dort sowieso nirgends sein konnte.

Eine ganz besondere Unterkunft

Wir waren insgesamt 4 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder unter 2 Jahren in der wunderschönen "De Kraak van Van Dam" in Friesland und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort. Die Kirche ist eine ganz besondere Unterkunft und mit der Orgel, der Kanzel und den Hühnern vor der Tür eine kleine Abenteuerlandschaft für Kinder. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht, auch Kinderbetten, Hochstühle und sogar Fahrräder mit Fahrradanhänger sind vor Ort. Ein kleiner Nachteil mit Kindern ist, dass die Schlafräume sich nicht gut verdunkeln lassen, so dass das Einschlafen sich unter Umständen schwierig gestaltet. Sonst waren wir rundum zufrieden und hatten mit Paul einen freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermieter. Das nahegelegene Harlingen lohnt einen Besuch und für uns war besonders der tolle Aqua Zoo in Leeuwarden einen Ausflug wert.

Einfach himmlisch!

Ein himmlischer Ort, geeignet für totale Entschleunigung und zum Seele baumeln lassen. Wir erinnern uns gerne an die wundervolle Musik, das leckere Essen und die vielen schönen Eindrücke und Erlebnisse an diesem Ort. Paul ist ein wunderbarer Vermieter, der uns mit Blumen, Wein und Schokolade empfing..., wir haben noch nie so gerne direkt neben unserem Vermieter gewohnt! Toller Urlaub!

Toller Urlaub!

Eine Ferienwohnung mit einem außergewöhnlichen, einmaligen Ambiente. Eine Kombination von historisch und modern. Die Wohnung war sauber und gepflegt. Der Vermieter, Herr de Cock, war sehr fürsorglich und stand mit Rat und Tat jederzeit zur Verfügung. Diese "Kirche" kann man jederzeit empfehlen!
