Located on Kimberley Alpine Resort with stunning mountain views, this condo is perfectly positioned to capture stunning views of the Purcell rocky mountain range. The location of this large 2-bedroom condo is a skiers fantasy, and a golfers dream, complete with views that will take your breath away. Relax and enjoy the 100-mile view of the snow-capped mountains while unwinding in your private hot tub or enjoying the front or back patio. Click into your ski boots from your front door and be on the T-bar ski hill within seconds. This is a true ski in ski out location which makes a quick lunch back at the condo extremely convenient. 5 golf courses are within minutes, including world-renowned Trickle Creek only a 2-minute drive away, this is truly the best of both worlds in every season.

This condo has an amazing kitchen complete with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances in a well-thought-out design that is a joy to cook & entertain in while you watch the skiers going down the front face of the mountain. Appliances include a fridge (ice maker, and filtered water), ceramic flat top stove, microwave, dishwasher, clothes washer & dryer, coffee maker, teapot, blender, popcorn maker, slow cooker and waffle maker. The fully stocked kitchen includes place settings for 8-10, ample glassware, plastic cups, bakeware, and all utensils needed, even a turkey roaster! The kitchen table seats seven plus the eating bar includes three bar stools.

The wood furniture was handcrafted right in Kimberley, B.C. and is custom made for the condo. There are beautiful HEATED slate stone floors in the kitchen and bathrooms and hardwood in the living area on the main floor, which also includes a half bathroom and washer and dryer. The main floor also has an electric fireplace, and AIR CONDITIONING complete with a flat-screen cable TV, with Bluetooth soundbar as well as NETFLIX and Disney+ included! Just off the living room, there is a door that leads to the rear balcony where you will find the PRIVATE HOT TUB, a patio set, a natural gas BBQ and of course a breathtaking million-dollar VIEW overlooking the beautiful Purcell mountain range. The sunny wine deck off the front has patio furniture and a clear view of the front mountain face of the ski hill, only 36 seconds from your front door!

Upstairs you will find 2 LARGE bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with in-floor heating throughout. Both bedrooms have wall heaters AND Air Conditioning. The master bedroom includes a king-sized bed and a double pull-out hide-a-bed, a flat-screen TV with cable, and a full en-suite bathroom. The ironing board and iron are also located in the large walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 has a queen-sized bed, bunk bed that has a double bed, single top bunk as well as a single trundle bed. Children’s stories and board games make this room complete!

There is one designated HEATED underground parking stall in the secure parkade as well as ample exterior parking.

This property has residential neighbours and is NOT a place for parties as it is a quiet building.

Things To Do in Kimberley

At an impressive elevation of 1,110m/3,642ft, Kimberley's altitude, often sunny skies and an impressive amount of snowfall (Annual average of 400cms – 13 feet) it's a favoured ski/snowboard destination in the Kootenay Rockies.

Skiing and golfing are the primary reason many visitors come to Kimberley but there is so much more to discover including hiking, nature walks, endless paved biking pathways such as the 40 km Rails to Trails path which connects Kimberley to Cranbrook, Nordic trails, fishing, rafting, 1,800 acres Kimberley Nature Park, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing barely touch the surface of things to do. Lussier Hot Springs is 60-minutes from the condo and is an amazing sight to see (and feel). Marysville Falls provides a perfect photo ‘op’ on a short, beautiful 10-minute hike, just minutes from the condo.

A walk down the downtown pedestrian walkway known as the “Platzl” is home to Canada's largest freestanding cuckoo clock, a must-stop candy store, numerous boutiques, eateries and of course the Kimberley City bakery. Spirit Rock Climbing Center is also found on the Platzl and just a block away you can go back in time and take a train ride on Kimberley’s Underground Mining Railway.

The drive out to Kimberley is spectacular and it is also accessible by air via Calgary International Airport (YYC) and the new Canadian Rockies International Airport (YXC) located between Cranbrook and Kimberley, BC.

Challenge yourself in a round of golf at several championship courses including Trickle Creek, Bootleg Gap, Kimberley Golf Club, St.Eugene Mission, Cranbrook Golf Club, Wildstone, Shadow Mountain, or the friendly Mission Hills.

Drive an hour north to Fairmont hot springs and you can take on the Mountainside and Riverside Courses. Eagle Ranch and Copper Point are another 20 minutes up the road from Fairmont. Grey wolf at Panorama is a 2-hour drive from Kimberley.

Cranbrook is a scenic 25-minute drive and there you’ll find a Tim Horton’s, Wal-Mart, Save on Foods, Home Depot, Canadian Tire and much more.

Wasa Lake is a 30-minute drive from the condo and offers a sandy beach ideal for young families to enjoy a day in warm, clean water.

The historic Fort Steele is also only a 30-minute drive and provides a look into the history of the region and the Royal Northwest Mounted Police.

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Remove all garbage and recycling and place them in garbage bins at the entrance to the complex. Please note that Yellow Recycling bins will accept: Cans, bottles, cardboard, paper, plastics & metal.
Load and start the dishwasher. Turn ALL in-wall heat & air conditioning units off. Turn the Fireplace and TV off (ensure the green light is off). Ensure that ALL windows and blinds are closed.
Place all soiled towels into the bathtub. Ensure that Physical Garage Keys are left on the key hook by the front door. CHECK-OUT time is 11:00 AM.

Great space & location

This was an excellent spot for our family! It had all we needed for our week in Kimberley, and having all the games available was nice for the times when we were there. I liked that there was seating on both sides of the place, so there was always a shady place to sit out of the sun. Would definitely stay here again!

Kimberley Family Reunion

This condo was perfect for our family to stay during a recent family reunion in the area. It had all the comforts of home and a fantastic view of the Canadian Rockies. I highly recommend this unit in winter or summer as we will stay here again at the next reunion

Spectacular views and tonnes of space for a family. Five of use enjoyed a weekend stay and loved the place. The convenience of ski-in, ski-out cannot be overstated, especially with small kids. We enjoyed the generous collection of family games and books, and we hope to be back for another stay next winter.

Great Family Day Long Weekend Stay

Stayed at this property with two families for three nights during the Family Day Long Weekend. It was extremely well stocked and exceeded expectations. It is conveniently located at the top of the T-Bar of the ski hill making access throughout a ski day very easy. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in a multi-day ski trip to Kimberley with families and I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great location for a ski trip!

Chris and Sandra were very generous and easy to deal with, offering an extended refund opportunity when the main chairlift was rendered inoperable. We had an amazing time and the walk to the lift was only a mild inconvenience. We greatly enjoyed the amenities and location of their place and would highly recommend it!

Relaxation and Adventure

The property is close to everything someone might want to do. For us it was mountain biking and the trails are right across the street. There’s also a path that you can walk into town. The property is clean, spacious and has everything you could need to feel at home. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Condo

This condo was perfect for our stay. The location was close to hikes, bike trails and to the lake. What a beautiful view from the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed - very well equipped! We thought it would be noteworthy to say that although the VRBO site indicates there is a pool, there is no access to one on site. There is however the wonderful hot tub which we enjoyed after a long day of biking.

The condo was perfectly prepared: clean with all the towels, dishes and sundries needed for the week. Even including coffee and filters to start off the days! Very good ski in/out condo

Outstanding ski in/out property located above the T bar hill at Kimberley Alpine Resort, a terrific family friendly ski hill. The owners were well organized with clear directions and advice, the condo was clean and well prepared for our arrival and comes with all the necessary tools to meet family stay needs. We were accompanied by our 8 and 6 year old grandchildren. They loved the hot tub (with spectacular views) and the fooze ball table (I lost). The children's room had a miriade of books and games which were used extensively by the children. We have been coming to Kimberley for over 25 years, this condo is highly recommended.

Refresh and reset!

What a great place to just say goodbye to regular life and unplug from everything that is on your mind. There is nothing better than the fresh mountain air with a cup of coffee first thing in the morning to recharge the battery. Tons of hiking paths everywhere around the condo to take in all the views and then to be able to come back to the condo and know everything (other than the food, and there are a couple of great markets in town that you can get anything you need) is there to make something to eat that doesn't cost a fortune and isn't deep fried is awesome! The rooms and beds are super comfortable and let you get a great nights sleep. This condo really does live up to all the reviews and everything that is said about it! Totally worth the trip!

Great couples golf getaway

Property was true to listing and layout was perfect for two couples. Very clean. Kitchen very well equipped and would also be great for families as lots of sleeping space, games, etc. Property was a bit far from downtown shops and restaurants to walk, but a short drive. Loved the golf courses and amenities Kimberley offered. Check in/out was easy and good communication with the host. Hope to stay again.

The views are breathtaking and the adventures are endless. Our condo is spacious and relaxing and the proximity to both ski and golf is literally seconds away. The finishing features are of high quality and we love that the furniture was locally hand crafted in Kimberley.

What makes this property unique

Our condo is situated on the T-bar ski run. The fact that we can get ski boots on in our condo and be on our skis in 36 seconds instantly sold us on this property. The 100-mile mountain view from our hot tub is truly mesmerizing. Heated underground parking PLUS Air Conditioning are features of this condo!!
