Periwinkle Cottage is charming - interiors are beautifully furnished and decorated with two lovely bedrooms, contemporary kitchen and a cosy sitting room with a Victorian fireplace and window seat. The landscaped gardens are a great feature of the cottage with two alfresco dining areas and fabulous sea views.
It’s just a short walk down into Mumbles, this delightful coastal village is home to some excellent boutiques, stylish shops, galleries and cafes. Further afield, drive along the Gower Peninsular and step back in time with a visit to one of the many castles, stroll along the coastal paths and stop off at one of the fabulous beaches along the way.

Accommodation Ground Floor Entered through a stable door. Living room/dining area: 2 large sofas, dining table and chairs, flatscreen TV & DVD player and a window seat. Kitchen: gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge. Outside utility area: washing machine.
First Floor Master bedroom: king size four-poster bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers. Bedroom 2: twin beds, dressing table, single wardrobe. Bathroom: bath with shower over (restricted headroom for tall people of 6ft+), wash hand basin and WC.
Entertainment: flatscreen TV & DVD player Outside: rear garden has been beautifully landscaped with two separate seating areas with views over the bay. For families: travel cot, high chair and stair gate. Parking: private parking space. General: changeover day - Saturday. Gas CH. Bed linen and towels provided. WiFi. 4 star rating. Pets: sorry, no pets. Accidental Damage Deposit: you may need to pay an Accidental Damage Deposit or Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver for this property. Where applicable we will contact you in good time before your holiday with further details and to take payment. Notes: no smoking. Terraced garden may not be suitable for people with mobility issues or young children.

The website details were a little inaccurate saying we couldn't access the property until 1900 and there was no freezer. We tried to ask about freezer & times online but had no response. Managed to clarify with owner about access times and found a small freezer in the cupboard under the stairs! Nice cottage with lovely view across the bay. Amenities were mostly good but owner may want to invest in better knives for anyone wanting to cook during their stay. Shops and restaurants within easy walking distance but be warned there's a steep uphill climb on the way home! Parking is a bit awkward as no turning space and had to reverse out along the front of the full row of cottages. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
