CalanteLuna Relais is a very welcoming and bright accommodation facility offering well-furnished rooms and apartments, each with outdoor space overlooking the sea, Wi-Fi Internet connection, and air conditioning.

La Casa del Sole is a two-story apartment with an internal staircase, consisting of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private terrace overlooking the sea with a hot tub.
It can accommodate up to 4 people.

The apartment has a small panoramic terrace overlooking the Faraglioni rocks of Capri and the Bay of Positano, partially shaded by a porch and furnished with a beautiful Vietri-style majolica table, wrought iron chairs, an outdoor shower, and a fabulous outdoor hot tub.

The terrace leads to a small living room/kitchen area with a sofa and air conditioning.
The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, and other small appliances.

Bedroom 1: double bedroom with TV, air conditioning, and sea view window.

Bathroom: The bathroom has a nice shower and hairdryer, as well as a convenient washing machine.

Upper floor

Bedroom 2: double bedroom with TV, en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer. The bedroom has air conditioning and a low window with sea view.

Guests at CalanteLuna Relais also have access to a wonderful shared terrace and a panoramic garden with fantastic sea views, a solarium with sun loungers, an outdoor shower, and lots of colorful flowers!
You can relax in the shade of lemon and olive trees, immersed in the peace of this enchanting place.

The final rental price includes: electricity, bed linen, towels, air conditioning, final cleaning, and a cot (on request).
To be paid in cash at check-in: tourist tax of €2.50 per person per day for the first 7 days.

Calanteluna Relais is located in Praiano, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast, in a place called Vettica Maggiore, an ancient town facing west, with the sunset over the Faraglioni rocks of Capri and completely overlooking the Bay of Positano.

Along Via G Marconi, on the left, you will find a staircase called Via Casa Cinque consisting of 110 steps leading to Calanteluna Relais.

IMPORTANT: All the villages on the Amalfi Coast are built vertically: stairs are a traditional and characteristic feature of the area and are part of its beauty!

Our reception is open during the day and our staff is at your disposal for:
- information about the Amalfi Coast,
- organizing transfers for check-in and check-out to the airport, train station, or port
- organizing excursions and visits to Ravello, Sentiero degli dei, Capri
- organizing cooking classes, etc.
- a coffee or fresh lemonade made with lemons from our garden!

For organizational and operational reasons, we strongly recommend that guests contact us before arrival for more information and clarification on logistics, accessibility, activities to do during their stay, etc.

Beautiful, picture book setting

My friends and I loved the accommodations. In spite of the stairs I would stay here again. Elia and his mom were the perfect hosts. He set up excursions for us and she brought us lemon cake and figs from the garden. The apartment was spotless and spacious. Air conditioning was 50 Euros more per week but well worth it. The view from our terrace was spectacular. Perfect for couples, friends or families. Praiano is the perfect small town between Positano and Amalfi. More laid back than either of those places. Loved the little market in the towm center and One Fire Beach which was within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this to others.

A perfect combination of sea views and Italian hospitality.

Despite intermittent rain showers and sometimes cool temperatures, we spent more time on the terrace than we did inside. The views, especially of the sunsets, were better than you would find in Amalfi or Positano. Giovanni’s recommendations RE restaurants, routes, and places to visit were spot on every time. He went out of his way to meet us for a later than expected check in, and even supplied a welcome drink while we took care of the paperwork. One of our party, seduced by aromas wafting from Silvana’s kitchen, introduced herself resulting in Silvana personally delivering freshly baked cake, still warm from the oven, directly to our table. We easily walked to breakfast (Novanta Quattro), groceries (Tutto y Tutti), and dinner (Kasai), among others. A special shoutout to the proprietress of La Bacheca for her expert guidance as to the where’s and what’s of Sorrento. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our apartment and the effort put forth by our hosts. The stairs, challenging as they might be, were a good way to reach our daily Fitbit goals.

This apartment has beautiful views and is very comfortable. The kitchen is a little tired but has everything you need. It’s in a lovely location.

beautiful apartment by the sea

This place is absolutely incredible. Beautiful views of positano and the ocean. Kind and extremely helpful hosts. We stayed here with our 18 month old daughter and they provided a crib for us. Having a kitchen and private balcony was so nice, and made it a lot easier with our daughter. Praiano itself is centrally located, so it was really easy to get to positano or amalfi, and from there we could get to Capri or Ravello repectively (the bus station is a 3 minute walk). Che bonta and Il Pino are two good resteraunts nearby (and are kid friendly). And there are a bunch of grocery stores nearby to stock the fridge, we loved our stay!

Excellent location, beautiful views and friendly hosts

A fantastic central location to explore the amalfi coast but not for the faint hearted. In order to get such great views there are lots of steps to climb! We absolutely loved it. Thanks to everyone there who made our holiday one of the best.

Nice house and amazing views!

Overall our experience was very good in Praiano! The house is very good, very well equipped and maintained. The views are awesome, perfect to have a cold drink and some appetizers by sunset.

Beautiful views and extremely informative host!!

We had a great stay at Elias. Don't be deterred by the steps on the way up, the view is well worth it!! The common area with the jacuzzi is an added extra. Upon arrival Elia met with us and gave us an extremely thorough run through of the area, sights to see and how to make the most of our time there. He helped us book excursions and recommended restaurants to try in the area. We would recommend to anyone heading to Praiano!!

Panoramic views and Spectacular Terrace!

Amazing location with beautiful views from bedrooms and inviting terrace with chaise loungers and table and chairs. From the start of our journey (we drove), Elia's communication was excellent in guiding us to the location. He met us and arranged a porter to carry our luggage and then spent time reviewing the house and activities in the area. Highlights: Elia arranged a private boat to take us to Isle of Capri and drove us to the location the following day. Elia also told us about a beach area, One Fire, which was one of our favorite days relaxing on the beach with excellent service and great food! Try the eggplant parmesan which was one of the best I tried in Italy. We spent six weeks traveling throughout Italy and Spain and this location was truly one of our favorites! The wonderful bedrooms leading out to the spectacular terrace were private and well appointed. The bathrooms were modern and many amenities provided. The kitchen has all conveniences and we opted to make breakfasts and enjoy the beautiful terrace with the spectacular views. There are many wonderful restaurants, which again, Elia recommended. I highly recommend this location and can tell you it's like having a private concierge to help you with making arrangements. I would definitely return and would love to spend two weeks next time!

Luxurious

We shared the property known as L'Infinito with another couple. No expense has been spared. The views were tremendous and the quality of amenities (kitchen/washing machine) were top shelf. Elia (property manager for the family) lives right next door and was gracious, charming, and helpful. The only drawback to this property are the steps (about 50-60 straight up) and no parking close by. If you can live with those drawbacks, you won't be disappointed in this property. The views were just tremendous. The bathrooms were large and clean with thoughtful amenities like hooks for towels, etc. and small armoires for toiletries which are so important when living out of a suitcase. If you are going to visit Amalfi coast, you should know that it's no place for the physically handicapped. If you aren't then you will certainly enjoy your stay at L'Infinito.

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Sole. Elia, our host, helped us from the get go. He spoke and directed our taxi driver until we arrived at the property, then he helped us with our bags up the stairs, gave us a tour of the property and advised us of the area telling us of good food places and where the beaches and little shops are. He also assisted us with booking a boat cruise to the Island Capri and even took us to the harbour when the pick up spot changed at the last minute. He also booked our transfers back to the airport which was of excellent standard. He was further very hospitable and even gave us some of the cake his mother has baked :). The property was exactly as described and it was a comfortable size with really spectacular views. Out of the 4 nights we stayed in two nights as it was so nice and comfortable and pretty at our apartment. The property is very clean and well maintained and of a high quality. We will stay here again on our next visit and have already told friends and family about Casa del Sole. This property is definitely one for the books. A special thanks to the host for all the help and hospitality.

Lovely apartment but many steps

The apartment and facilities are quite nice and very clean. We did not anticipate the amount of steps though. There were 119 stair steps from the road to the apartment. Caring groceries or heavy items is very challenging. The owner is very accommodating and quite helpful. The view is breath-taking--just be prepared for the steps.

LOVED THIS PLACE!!

I found this on vrbo, and was so happy that I did! We were two couples and the apt Casa del Sole was just perfect for us! The owners are SO VERY nice and helpful, the apartment is spotless and everything that you need is there. The location is absolutely PERFECT, Priano is between Positano and Almafi, which are much larger busier towns, the views from this apartment are spectacular! I loved my stay here and will only stay here if I ever get back to the Almafi coast. And you must go to dinner at their restaurant in Positano, it was fantastic!! Stay here you will not be disappointed. The steps were not too bad either, I saw much worse!

How I fell in love with Italy

Our stay was during the first week of July 2013. We stayed on the Amalfi Coast (Praiano) only 4 nights of 10 spent in Italy. Praiano was our favorite by far! There is a 100% guarantee our family will be returning to CalantaLuna Relias!  Elia & Pietro, always prompt & reassuring, addressed all of our questions and concerns before we ever left home. I was so nervous about our arrival to the coast that they even sent me detailed travel instructions. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. There are quite alot of stairs to get a view like that, but it is well worth it to us. (To be clear, there  are quite alot of stairs everywhere on the Amalfi Coast!) The rooms are very nice & very clean. The kitchen is well  equipped with the basics. The veranda was literally covered in beautiful flowers and equipped with books, a stereo, a hammock, lounge chairs, and a hot tub. Elia told us that we would like Praiano better than Positano, but we were skeptical. (There is alot to do in Positano!) "There is more sun in Praiano!"  he said. He was right of course, we loved everything about Praiano. The beaches were not so crowded, the stores were not so expensive, and the people were not all tourists! We took the short bus ride to Positano often, but were always glad to be back in Praiano!

“Nice views, clean and great location”

We really enjoyed our stay in Calante Luna. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. The place is new and very clean and has a big terras from where you have a spectular view on the sea and the city Positano. Calante Luna is situated at walking distance from Praiano (Be aware of the steep slope). Praiano is a good place to visite the Amalfi coast. We can really recommend this property!
