Eagle View Holiday Home is situated in Moone a quaint village in the south of County Kildare. This self-catering holiday home is ideally located, 2 miles from Belan village, a 13-minute drive from the market town of Athy, where the River Barrow meets the Grand Canal and an hour drive from Dublin city centre.
Eagle View Holiday Home is perfect for anglers, as this holiday home has its own river running through the land and fishing can occur in season.
Eagle View Holiday Home Description – Sleeps 8:
The large kitchen is fully equipped providing all you need for a comfortable self-catering break in Ireland. The pretty living and dining room is tastefully decorated with comfortable sofas, television and an open fire.
It has 4 bedrooms and sleeps 8 guests comfortably:
Property layout – Ground floor:
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Living and dining room with TV and open fire.
- Bedroom 1: double ensuite sleeping 2
- Bedroom 2: double sleeping 2
- Bedroom 3: double sleeping 2
- Bedroom 4: double sleeping 2
- Bathroom with shower
- Bathroom with bath
Towels are provided.
Outside this spacious holiday home is a mature and private garden with garden furniture provided, perfect for dining alfresco.

This holiday home is a three-minute drive from the magnificent Kilkea Castle, set on 180 acres of its own wonderful woodland, gardens and golf course. Kilkea Castle enchants from the moment you drive down the beech-lined avenue overlooking the Killeshin Hills, only minutes from the ancient Mullaghreelan Woods.

1. Heating and Electricity:
This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
