Codeglia, 400 meters in altitude on the sea, a village of a few inhabitants immersed in the scent, in the silence and the colors of nature. Ideal for those who practice trekking and mountain biking.
45 sqm apartment on two floors in an ancient farmhouse, completely renovated recently.
Car: it is strongly recommended to come by car as Codeglia is not well connected with La Spezia and there aren’t shops nor restaurants near the house.
Five lands

The apartment is conveniently hi located to reach the Cinque Terre, both by car and trekking routes.
Riomaggiore only 15 km by car, Monterosso to 28 km.

Central La Spezia station only 15 minutes by car (8km).

The accommodation

The small house is located in the hills in a typical village that is a real oasis of relaxation, ideal to end the day after a visit to the crowded 5 Terre.

The accommodation has outdoor spaces: with a large terrace and a garden where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley and the city of La Spezia.

The house is fully equipped including appliances such as washing machine, TV and Wi-Fi.

Habitable in all seasons as it is equipped with an independent heating system. Ideal for two people but can accommodate up to four. Wi-Fi connection available. The car is strongly recommended for travel and to reach the apartment - Note: in Codeglia there are not any supermarkets or restaurants.

The village

Codeglia represents one of the places in the Val di Vara most closely linked to the poor history of the Cinque Terre. In a past made of agriculture, animal breeding and production of caciotta. Located on the border with Riomaggiore and Manarola, along an ancient salt road, it is an excellent starting point to reach the Cinque Terre by trekking in the middle of nature.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans le logement de Rénata. Pour les amoureux de calme, c'est parfait. Rénata est une hote très agréable, à l'écoute de vos petits besoins et à vps petits soins. Wunderschönes Haus mit toller Terrasse und einem herrlichen Ausblick. Renata war eine unglaublich nette Gastgeberin, die alles dafür getan hat uns unseren Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen. Es gab zur Begrüßung kalte Getränke im Kühlschrank, sowie von ihr selbstgemachtes Pesto und Marmelade. Sie hat uns so freundlich begrüßt und willkommen geheißen, dass wir uns sofort wohl fühlen konnten. Gleichzeitig haben wir hilfreiche und wertvolle Tipps über Ausflüge, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants und Parkplätze erhalten. Wir haben uns rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt und unseren Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft sehr genossen.

Séjour aux cinq terres

Arrivés au logement, Renata était déjà présente pour nous accueillir chaleureusement, présentation du logement et explications des choses à savoir pour optimiser notre séjour.Tout s’est très bien passé et la vue depuis la terrasse est juste magnifique,je le recommande.

LA PETITE MAISON DANS LA MONTAGNE

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette maison situé dans un petit hameau en montagne. Les photos ne sont pas mensongères. Elle est venue en personne nous chercher car nous étions perdus du fait qu'il y avait des travaux sur la route et qu'il fallait prendre une autre route. Si vous voulez vous reposer, c'est l'endroit idéal. très calme. La vue sur les alpes apuanes est magnifique. Renata est une personne très chaleureuse et sait recevoir ses hôtes. un pot de pesto et de la confiture d'orange ainsi que des boissons fraiches nous attendaient à notre arrivée. Les petites pâtisseries en milieu de séjour étaient excellentes. Elle nous a donné d'excellents conseils et adresses pour agrémenter notre séjour. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le restaurant "la pineta". Bref, n'hésitez pas ....Merci Renata, nous garderons un excellent souvenir de vous et de votre belle petite maison où nous nous sentions chez nous.

We spent two wonderful weeks at the end of May and beginning of June in Renata's beautifully renovated stone cottage. The online pictures speak for themselves. It's stylishly renovated, and the location is fantastic. It's incredibly quiet, and you can see La Spezia and the Apuan Alps. There's a roof over the seating area, so you're well protected from rain and sun. However, a vehicle is absolutely necessary. The buses don't run frequently.What really made the vacation special, though, was Renata as our host. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with various drinks, homemade jam and pesto, ham, and a basket of baked goods.Every day, we were provided with even more delightful tips about what to see in the area. We followed almost all of them and had a very rich and interesting vacation.Thank you so much, Renata! You are a wonderful host! That made this vacation very special.Barbara and Jürgen

A nice house for the Cinque Terre

Nous avons été ravis de notre sejour (de 6 jours) car la maison est au calme, à seulement 15 mn de la gare pour les Cinque Terre (très pratique). Elle est en hauteur offrant un peu plus de fraicheur et une superbe vue sur la vallée et les montagnes de Carrare au loin! Idéale pour visiter la région. Et Renata est une hôte très bienveillante et au petit soin. C'était parfait!

Cadre agréable mais certains points à préciser

Nous avons passé un bon séjour. Renata est très accueillante. Cependant pour accéder au logement le chemin privé est limite pour une voiture car rempli d'ornieres. La proximité des autres locations est surprenante car les terrasses sont situé à 2m, ce qui fait que nous subissons les conversations des autres locataires. Il n'y pas de spa comme annoncé dans l'annonce. La wifi fonctionne de manière aléatoire. La literie confortable.

Kleines Ferienhäuschen mit wunderschönen Ausblick

Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, und im Kühlschrank standen selbstgemachtes Pesto und Marmelade bereit. Ausflugsziele und Tipps zum "Freien Parken" in La Spezia gab's dazu. Wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Die Lage ist traumhaft, und wer die Ruhe sucht wird hier fündig. Nur auf das „schnelle Internet“ sollte man nicht uneingeschränkt vertrauen. Manchmal gab es eine WLAN Verbindung, und manchmal eben nicht. Wir haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen, und hatten schöne Urlaubstage.

A rustic gem in the hills of La Spezia

Our stay at Casa del Borgo was pleasant. We had good communication w/host as very responsive. We did not realize how remote the air b n b was, but it made for a private cozy getaway. Renata left great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. she even made dinner reservations for us! I would recommend this rental property to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle. Maria Mendez-Smith

Outstanding lodging near La Spezia

This beautiful, historic home in the hills above La Spezia was a gem. We had the entire home to ourselves, with ample room and accommodations. The home is furnished with all of the amenities required, and it's located away from the busy city, in a spectacular, scenic, mountain area near La Spezia. I can't say enough great things about our host, she was so kind, informative and helpful, our experiences in 5 Terre, would not have been the same without her. Highly recommended!

Authentisch - italienisch - gemütlich - Ruhepol inmitten der Natur

Gut ausgestattetes, gemütliches Ferienhaus inmitten der Natur mit toller Aussicht und Parkplatz. Man kann hier bestens zur Ruhe kommen und dem Touristenrummel entfliehen. Das typische Naturstein-Haus ist auch ohne Airco angenehm kühl. La Spezia erreicht man mit dem Auto in nur 15 Minuten. Hinter dem Haus verläuft der Wanderweg zur Cinque Terre. Dir, Renata, nochmals Danke für den herzlichen Empfang und deine unerschöpflichen Tipps!!

Excellent séjour, que nous garderons en mémoire

Que dire d’autre de ce séjour si ce n’est qu’il fut merveilleux. Renata est une hôtesse hors pair pour ses hôtes. Accueil chaleureux, aux petits soins pour veiller à ce que tout se passe bien, nous communiquant une liste de très bonnes adresses pour les visites, les courses et la restauration. Sans compter un renfort précieux car nous avons eu un problème de voiture qu’elle nous a aidé à résoudre rapidement en nous débarrassant de tout stress. Quand au logement lui-même, il est parfait pour un couple cherchant un lieu calme, à l’écart du monde, dans la nature, à flanc de montagne, avec une vue magnifique sur La Spezia. De très agréables petits déjeuner sur la terrasse, malgré l’hivers (Nous étions en hivers et bien chauffé), face au soleil levant. Le logement offre un accès rapide (30 mn à pied, 10 mn en voiture) aux sentiers qui surplombent les villages des 5 Terres. Tout en restant à environ 20 mn du centre-ville (et de la gare du train). Quand à la région, superbe. Au-delà des 5 terres, nous avons visité Porto Venere, magnifique, les carrières de Carrare, impressionnante et à ne pas rater, et fait plusieurs randonnées très agréables. Nous recommandons vivement.

Gute Ferienwohnung für 2 Personen

Insgesamt okay. Der Weg zum Parkplatz ist nicht für jedes Auto geeignet, da ausgewaschene Schotterpiste. Mit SUV aber kein Problem. Leider ist der Wasserdruck bei der Dusche etwas gering gewesen. Ansonsten schöne ruhige Lage mit Blick in Richtung La Spezia.

Mit TerrassenÜBERDACHUNG

DIE TERRASSE IST (neu) ÜBERDACHT! Das ist sehr wichtig und wohl neu und nicht in den Fotos aktualisiert. Toll: Du kannst IMMER im Schatten sitzen. Die Vermieterin Renata: ist sehr zugewandt. Unaufgefordert sandte sie viele Strandtipps per WhatsApp und organisierte Gaststättentipps. Die Wanderwege: Führen wohl tatsächlich am Haus vorbei, aber sind nicht wirklich zu finden, auch nicht für die vielen Wander*innen, die uns an unserer Terrasse nach dem Weg fragten. Das Häuslein: Ist fein renoviert. Renata erzählte, dass es von der Großmutter ist. Nun ja, wir hatten den Eindruck, dass es trotz der sehr gründlichen Renovierung immer noch intensiv nach vergangenem Leben riecht. Die vielen in den Schränken für den Winter aufbewahrten Decken hängten wir einfach in die Sonne. Und da im Schlafzimmer Mückenfenster sind, konnten wir IMMER die Öffnungen des Hauses geöffnet haben. Das Kochen: Es gibt den Gasherd und man muss wissen, dass der so gut kochte, dass man selbst bei der kleinsten Flamme einen Flammenwerfer beobacheten musste. Die Kochausrüstung: Sehr vermischtes Campingausrüstungsniveau. Die Dusche: Beinhaltet wohl den "Whirl-Pool"...nun, wer in den anderen Bewertungen vom nicht vorhandenen Duschdruck lesen konnte, darf sich vorstellen, wie sich ein Dusch-Whirl-Pool NICHT anfühlt. Dennoch: Wir fühlten uns wohl. Sehr wohl!
