Ainos Retreat Kefalonia

Ainos Retreat welcomes you το the verdant village of Xenopoulo, Kefalonia. The village is in southeastern Kefalonia, built at an altitude of 300 m. on the slopes of Mount Ainos, with magnificent views to the forest of indigenous dark firs (abies cephalonica).

At Ainos Retreat, we offer you a sanctuary where you can get away from it all and not be found – unless you want to be.
The property has maintained the local architecture through the years as typified by the hand-chiseled cypress lumber frame that divides the two levels of the house and the short doors that follow the architectural design of previous centuries.
Our fully renovated shelter is on two floors connected by wooden indoor stairs. The ground floor is a studio equipped with a single and a double bed, a small living room, and a bathroom. On the first floor are the two main bedrooms, the main living room, a bathroom, and the kitchen. The premises include a sun-shaded courtyard where you can combine al fresco dining, a drink, or a cup of coffee with spectacular views of the mountain. During your stay make sure to wander around the village's alleys and meet its quaint and hospitable inhabitants.
