apartment renovated in spring 2018, in an exceptional building, in the middle of a large 19th century park. This building includes 2 completely independent lodgings, located on the first floor of each wing. The situation is close to Tours (1/4 hour), 10 minutes from the castle of Villandry, on the route "Loire à Vélo", and 3 minutes from the golf Touraine (Ballan-Miré). The apartment is quiet, bright, the kitchen is well equipped. Private parking. Secure local for bicycles.

Bijzonder mooi

De accommodatie is bijzonder mooi! Heel ruim en schoon. De eigenaars zijn zeer vriendelijk en servicegericht! Uitzonderlijk was ook het weer, erg warm! We kregen van de eigenaar een ventilator wat wel even fijn was maar helaas niet voldoende. Misschien een idee voor de eigenaar om toch een airco met aparte stroommeter aan te schaffen. Behalve dit hebben wij geen op of aanmerkingen. Wij raden deze accommodatie zeker aan!

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt und würden sie wieder buchen.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen, obwohl wir die meiste Zeit unterwegs waren. Die Ferienwohnung war sehr sauber und geräumig. Alles war vorhanden, was man brauchte. Wie schon in anderen Bewertungen geschrieben ist das Gelände rings um das Gebäude (ehemalige Stallungen) etwas vernachlässigt (das Treppengeländer runter zur Waschküche müsste dringend erneuert werden), hat aber auch seinen Charme. Wir haben am Morgen und Abend die Stille genossen, obwohl Stille - die Vögel zwitscherten und am Abend zirpten die Grillen, aber wir lieben so etwas. Besser als die Autobahngeräusche, die wir zuhause hören. Und der Blick ins Grüne beim Frühstücken war einfach nur schön. Die FeWo ist sehr gut gelegen. Man ist rasch in Tours und im Umkreis von ca. 20-25 km gibt es ganz viele tolle Schlösser zu besichtigen (Villandry ist z.B. nur ca. 9 km entfernt).

Nous souhaitions faire decouvrir cette belle région à notre petite fille. Nous avons alterné visites de chateau et ballades. Nous avons apprécié de nous retrouver le soir dans ce bel appartement avec un environnement très zen.

Unterkunft für Kurztripp

Die Schlösser in der Umgebung sind absolut sehenswert- besonders Villandry. Der Park der Unterkunft ist sehr idyllisch. Das gesamte Anwesen ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was auf den Fotos nicht ganz ersichtlich wird- hat aber Charme. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

A unique stay in a fabulous location for exploring the area

What a unique place to stay. Spacious clean and modern. Light and airy. Yes the whole hemicycle is looking a bit run down and could do with a bit of TLC but the flat itself was great. You can get into Tours with plenty of free parking in 15 mins. Villandry is just down the road. Very easy to get around. A couple of minor moans- agree with previous post that considering price a couple more toilet rolls would have been helpful. I would have loved to have used the coffee machine but we don't have those types at home and I didn't want to buy a whole box for just a couple of nights ☹️ a TV would also be good for the wet days especially with children. Being able to use the bikes was amazing and the use of washing machine and huge drying space was a great help. All communications were brilliant and it's a lovely quiet space to stay with the bonus of lovely grounds to walk around. Highly recommend.
