This property was clean and centrally located in Athens to sites we wanted to see. I would stay here again. There are several good restaurants/bars within a few minutes walk and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Why they chose this property
This beautiful 35m² studio on Drakou pedestrian, is only 5 min walking distance from the Erechthion of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, just a breath away from metro station Syggrou-Fix & right next to Athens National Museum of Contemporary Art. It is an absolutely authentic way to discover where Athens heart beats strongly while you sit back & enjoy its relaxing, full of trees balcony view. My neighborhood, Koukaki was voted by Airbnb as one of the top emerging globally places to visit The whole apartment was reconstructed and renovated from scratch! The open space of the living room and the kitchen has brand new appliances and with its terrace which is full of big trees it will be a delightful experience for you and your friends to sit back, relax and enjoy the athenian sunsets with the view of Filopappou Hill just a breath from the Acropolis.
What makes this property unique
My house is literally a breath away from the red-line subway station "Syngrou-Fix", one stop from the Acropolis (but I would suggest to walk through it) and two stops from Suntagma Center and the National Garden of Athens. The are plenty of buses that are passing through the Suggrou street and head to the coastal areas of Attica. Syggrou Fix Metro Station: 170m Acropolis Metro station: 500m Benaki Museum: 2.5m Syntagma Square: 1.1 km Lycabettus: 3.1km Acropolis: 500 km walk. Acropolis Museum: 500 km or a 15-minute metro ride National Gardens: 1500m
The apartment is ideally located in the heart of Athens! Just 5 minutes walk from the Acropolis Museum and the Parthenon and literally a breath away from the red-line subway station "Syngrou-Fix". My house is also 7 minutes walk from the National Museum of Contemporary Art and 10 minutes from National Garden of Athens just behind the Parliament and Syntagma Square. The garden consists of native trees and plants from other continents, a beautiful lake, a small zoo, a playground and a children’s library. Koukaki is a multicultural, lively, central area of Athens with stunning artwork, art nouveau, neoclassic architecture, and many cafés, restaurants and many different, small shops. Everything you may need is literally at your doorstep. The beautiful pedestrian street of Drakou Street has everything: supermarkets, restaurants (all kinds of kitchens) traditional taverns with souvlaki, cafes, a variety of art spaces and theaters are just some of the things you can visit and enjoy in my neighborhood, the Koukaki! To add it, the street of my apartment is a pedestrian street full of large trees, called Drakou and one of the most beautiful footpaths of Athens. Walking towards the street will llead you directly to the Erechtheion of the Acropolis.
I wish my guests enjoy my stay and spend pleasant time in downtown Athens. All the best, Stephanie
