The interior spaces of Silver Shells St. Maarten 406 have been completely updated and tastefully decorated with a trendy coastal theme. An open floor plan gives the whole family or group space to relax together. The living area is beach-facing, features floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors, and offers plenty of seating for everyone to gather around the flat-screen TV. The spacious beach-facing balcony is perfectly furnished to allow for entertaining or dining while taking in spectacular views of the white sand beach and emerald waters. The dining area has seating for six with four additional seats at the breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen includes full-size stainless steel appliances and all the cookware and dishware you could need for creating memorable meals.

The master bedroom has incredible beach views and private access to the beach-facing balcony. Complete with a king bed, flat-screen TV, walk-in closet, and private ensuite bathroom, the master bedroom was designed with relaxation in mind. The master bathroom features a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and double vanity. The first guest bedroom has a king bed, a flat-screen TV, and private access to the beach-facing balcony. The first guest bedroom also has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second guest bedroom has 2 Full size beds and flat-screen TV. Just steps from both the second guest bedroom and the living area is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. In this guest bathroom is a laundry area with a full-size washer and dryer for convenience.

The room was exactly as pictured and the view was gorgeous. We were able to watch dolphins every morning from the balcony. All the included amenities were so nice and the beach chairs were such a nice inclusion. I enjoyed the privacy and security of the resort. It is also located close to many restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back in the future.

Beautiful condo

Beautifully updated condo. Amazing view of beach. Checkin was very easy and condo was ready a little before 4. Would definitely rent this unit again.

The resort was great. Nice views. Pool, beach, and Sand Bar were all convenient and not overly crowded. The private balcony and elevator were great. My only concern is the back door code. Might want to make codes that are less obvious. Someone opened that door while my daughter was in there the morning we left. Or maybe another locking system. Others than that, we had no issues. We would stay here again.

No hot water in kitchen

No hot water in kitchen. Unable to wash dishes in dishwasher. Had to get hot water in a pitcher from bathroom and pour into kitchen sink in order to wash dishes all week. Due to no hot water in kitchen, unable to run dishwasher all week. There was a note in pitcher frame by sink that said let water run for a moment for the water to get warm. It NEVER got warm.

Relaxation at its best

This place is more than enough when you are needing to relax. The facility is breathtakingly gorgeous and the condo was in every way relaxing in every way! The only thing I would change would be the climate control but other than that it was the best experience I’ve had while on vacation. I will surely be back!

Beautiful condo, as described and easy to check-in.

Great location, facility and condo living arrangement. Easy check-in and friendly person in management. Good communication leading up to the trip. The mattresses were a bit firm, but okay. One bedroom at a small tear in carpet and a nail or staple stuck me and my husband in the foot, but we just tried to remember to walk over it. The pool was a highlight, friendly people and great parking. It was a lovely condo and vacation, and we'd like to rent this place in the future. Would do business with this company again.

Silver Shells is a very nice property. 406 was perfect for our family. We did have a lot of friends staying at the same time, so we got to see other rooms. Most are updated. 406 could use a freshening. Also, it's time for new mattresses. The main master was ok, but the blue bedspread room mattress is terrible, especially for 2 people. However, it was fine for my 14 year old daughter. The back bedroom mattress seemed a little better. By the way, I was expecting 2 queen beds and 1 king. All three rooms are king beds, which is nice. The view is amazing. Everyday we saw dolphins and sometimes eagle rays in the waves. The free chair and umbrella service that comes the room is so nice. Those workers do want their tips though! The pool was nice and large and the kids liked the hot tub. The elevator worked nicely and semi-private is very quiet. We did not hear noise from the sides or above us. Thank you! We had a great time.

Booked this last minute. Could not have planned it any better. The property is well kept and has great accessibility to everything you need. We walked both directions from the property and the beach in front of Silver Shells is far superior to anything in the vicinity! This property is going on our short list for sure. We will be back!!

Great Beachfront Vacation

This condo was very nice. It had all of the attributes we wanted. Spacious and luxurious. Great balcony! This was our first time at the Silver Shells resort, and we found it to be one of the best in Destin. It has everything you could want in a Destin resort. Beach umbrella/chair service is top class.
