Enjoy a beautiful 3800 square foot custom-built home in the Smoky Mountains 40 miles southwest of Asheville, North Carolina with a breathtaking view from nearly 4,200 foot elevation! You will enjoy a fabulous panoramic view from the deck during the day - and an absolutely enchanting view of the twinkling lights of nearby Waynesville at night!

The deck and surrounding trees are visited often by the many varieties of songbirds. The house is located in the Smoky Mountains where black bears are indigenous and have occasionally been seen in the area.

Many popular attractions are in the area such as the palatial Biltmore House and Gardens, Maggie Valley, Cherokee Indian Reservation and Casino, Blue Ridge Parkway, numerous championship golf courses, horseback riding, exciting white water rafting, Winchester Creek Alpaca and small animal farm, elk watching at the Pisgah National Forest, snow skiing on Cataloochee Mountain, Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Railroad, gem mining and delightful craft, and antique shopping and dining in Waynesville, Asheville, Sylva, and Dillsboro.

This luxurious home features private Master and Guest Suites, Kitchen, Dining Room, Office and Laundry on the main floor! Relax in the comfortable living room with cable TV, wood burning fireplace, DVD and CD players.

The master bedroom is spacious and features a king size bed, a large walk-in closet and a spacious private bath with a large shower and Jacuzzi tub. The private guest bedroom wing features a queen size bed and a separate bathroom with shower.

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove and double oven, warming drawer, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, drip and Keurig coffee makers, dishes, pots, pans, utensils and gadgets, etc. The formal dining room seats six or more comfortably.

The lower floor features a spacious bedroom with a king size bed, sitting/reading room with a couch, and a private bath. The downstairs also features a covered patio.

Huge 70’ long deck with wide open view of the sunrise and the lovely pond below. The deck, which has direct access to the upper and lower driveways, features a gazebo, and a large covered sitting area with spectacular mountain views.

A smokeless firepit is conveniently located on the property.
Wireless High Speed Internet access is provided.

Access to this home and its interior rooms has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate those who may have physical challenges. The entrance to the upper (main) floor has only one 6” step from the covered driveway portico. All the doors in the house are three feet wide and both the upper and lower floors have separate driveways.

External security cameras provide property surveillance. The property is equipped with an automatic startup whole house generator capable of powering the entire home in the event of a power outage.

Rentals are done on a weekly basis from Saturday afternoon at 3:30 pm through Saturday morning at 10:30 am. This gives us time to make sure the home is properly cleaned and prepared for our next guests.
