At the edge of the river, this old mill dates from the 17th century, it was restored in 1982. Weekly rental for two people. Absolute calm, no immediate neighbors.
The ground floor consists of a large room with fireplace, a kitchen, a toilet and a bathroom. On the floor a big room with 1 bed in 140 and 2 beds in 90.
At the top of the March valley, 3 km from Falgoux, the Mill is at the foot of Puy Mary, many hiking departures nearby. At Falgoux: grocery store, bread store, 2 restaurants, post office.
The medieval village of Salers is 15km, Mauriac 30km.

Stunning location!

Stunning location, very quiet, you can make great hikes right from the ‘vieux moulin’.. so we only used our car once to do shoppings and make a hike more up the mountain. I will recommend this place to all nature lovers.

Ancien moulin au bord d'une rivière ,dans un cadre magnifique, au milieu de la nature,au calme. Proche du village Le Falgoux, où on trouve une épicerie et deux restaurants. 25mn de Salers, très beau village.

Merveilleux ! La quietude et la beauté du lieu sont parfaits pour se ressourcer et profiter de la nature. Nous avons passé un séjour enchanté dans ce vieux moulin niché au bord de l’eau dont le doux murmure nous a accompagné tout au long de nos vacances.

Le cadre est bien ,mais gros problèmes avec le chemin pour arriver au moulin, On ne peut pas descendre avec le véhicule, pas pratiquable. L' intérieur du moulin n'est pas propre, le ménage n'est pas fait.

Havre de paix au bord de la rivière

La vallée du Falgoux est magnifique et apaisante. Elle offre la possibilité de nombreuses balades à proximité. Le gîte est un endroit calme et isolé.Très agréable. Le village est dotée de deux bars restaurants et d’une épicerie bien achalandée .

Que de bruits dans ce joli moulin, Le glou glou sympathique du ruisseau, Les sonnailles des vaches, Le sifflement des merles, Le cacardement du geai bleu Le chant du cincle plongeur et le gazouillis de tous les passereaux. Les visites silencieuses de la biche, la belette, la truite… Lieu magique hors du temps Accueil sympathique de tout le village.

Le moulin est très bien situé en pleine nature. Il est très beau et bien équipé. La région est magnifique avec de très nombreuses randonnées sur place. Nous espérons revenir.

Très bel endroit, calme. Le moulin est superbe. Grâce à lui, nous remontons le temps. Tout était parfait ( accueil convivial et charmant par Serge et Laurence: les épiciers, propreté irreprochable. Rien ne manquait. Nous recommandons ce gite et cet endroit aux amoureux de la nature.

Petit havre de paix, loin de toutes pollutions, ressource de bonheur assuré

C'est une jolie maison du 19eme siècle, au pieds des montagnes, un ruisseau coule paisiblement, la verdure y est majestueuse, les vaches "salers", broutent dans la prairie, des oiseaux des montagnes et autres animaux, viennent nous voir. Si vous aimez la nature, ce coin est parfait pour vous ressourcer

Avre de paix. Lieu magique avec repos total. Seul négatif l'hygiène limite surtout en période de COVID. Pas de mesures le propriétaire demande de faire le ménage car il ne trouve pas d'employé ! !!

Superbe Moulin dans un coin tranquille , tout pour se reposer pas de bruit sauf celui du ruisseau ,quelques fois les cloches des vaches qui nous font rêver au temps d’autrefois, cela convient aux Nostalgiques .Cela fait ma deuxième Année et je compte y retourner l'Année prochaine è la meme époque
