Fortezza Apartment - where past meets present

The Fortezza (meaning “the fortress”) apartment is situated in a building of historical importance, which is over 200 years old and where the Roman Wall comes to an end. The building used to be called Frtica, which also means the fortress. Therefore, staying in our apartment will give you a unique mixture of modern comfort with a touch of history that is also reflected in one of the walls of the apartment and the apartment's architecture.

The Fortezza apartment is situated in the area called Krakov (which was the town's granary in the Middle Ages) only a step away from the old town and the new city centre. It is located in the immediate proximity of all historic and cultural sights (Open-air theatre, City Museum, Emona archaeological sites, University library etc.), walking paths alongside the Ljubljanica river, the South-East base of the Castle Hill and only a minute away from the town's popular coffee shops, restaurants, open air events and happenings. The city ring is 3 km away. There are smaller and larger shops nearby, as well as the post office and the city bus stop.
