Nous n avons profité que d une seule nuit, car nous avons du rentrer plus tôt pour cause d élections Vous avons été super bien reçus, la maison est belle, grande,propre et dans un lieu super tranquille, pour ceux qui aime être en pleine nature . Il faudrait juste préciser que les chambres sont à l étage, pour les personnes à mobilité réduite .dommage aussi que l on ne puisse pas avoir la fourniture pour les draps sur un week-end Je recommande .

MItten auf dem Land

Das wunderbar geräumige und gemütlich - mit viel Holz - eingerichte Ferienhaus liegt inmitten landwirtschaftlicher Nutzflächen, etwas entfernt vom nächsten Bäcker (ca. 4 km) und dem nächsten Supermarkt (ca. 10 km) - alles gut erreichbar. Hinter dem Haus ist ein Teich, der ein Paradies für viele Tiere ist, die man prima von der Terrasse aus beobachten kann: eine muntere Entenschar, Fasane, Rebhühner, Reiher, Bieber und Hasen fühlen sich dort wohl - wunderbar entspannend anzusehen. Das Haus hat sowohl im EG wie auch in der oberen Etage, wo sich ein Schlafzimmer mit einem (französichen) Doppelbett und ein Zimmer mit drei Einzelbetten befinden, jeweils eine Toilette, was sehr praktisch ist, und im EG ein großes Bad. Das Zimmer oberhalb der Küche hat noch ein offenes Bad mit Waschbecken. Alles ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, am liebsten haben wir uns in der großen Küche aufgehalten - mit Zugang zur Terrasse und den Sitzgelegenheiten draußen. Vom Haus aus lassen sich viele Ziele in der Umgebung ansteuern, sowohl die (Landungs-) Strände wie auch die Suisse Normande zum Wandern, auch Caen und Bayeux sind gut erreichbar und einen Besuch wert. Annie ist eine freundliche Gastgeberin, die sich dezent im Hintergrund hält, aber da ist, wenn man Fragen hat. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden das Ferienhaus und seine Besitzerin sicherlich in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten!

Alles war wie zuvor beschrieben, sogar noch besser. Annie war eine hervorragende Gastgeberin und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist idyllisch und ruhig. Fazit: absolut empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für Menschen die Ruhe suchen und sich erholen wollen.

Fantastic gite in the Normandy countryside

We used this property as a base from which we explored the Normandy countryside and the WW2 beaches. The central location is perfect, being only 30 mins from most points of interest, but the quiet countryside location meant that it is also an ideal place to relax and put your feet up. The photos don't actually do the house justice, as we found it to be much larger than expected, especially the kitchen which had EVERYTHING you could possibly need. Annie and her family were very welcoming (their puppy especially so!), offering advice on where to visit and giving a thorough walk-through of the property on arrival. In summary, this is a beautiful house in a lovely location and I would highly recommend staying here. L'emplacement central est parfait, à seulement 30 minutes de la plupart des points d'intérêt, mais son emplacement paisible à la campagne en fait un lieu idéal pour se détendre et se lever. Les photos ne rendent pas vraiment justice à la maison, car nous l’avons trouvée beaucoup plus grande que prévu, en particulier la cuisine qui contenait TOUT ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin. Annie et sa famille étaient très accueillantes (leur chiot en particulier!), Offrant des conseils sur les endroits à visiter et donnant un aperçu complet de la propriété à l'arrivée. En résumé, ceci est une belle maison dans un endroit charmant et je recommande vivement de rester ici.

We stayed here several nights as our base for exploring Normandy. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the home!! It is so beautiful and just a lovely “away from it all” type of place. Our kids (6 and 8) loved the animals and that there was good WiFi. The house was split with one double room above the kitchen, and another staircase by the living room leaving to another double room, half bath, and kids room with 3 twins. Everything was clean and fresh and we were able to cook our own food as well. The owner was amazing and referred us to a pizza place the night we didn’t feel like cooking. All in all, it was gorgeous, peaceful, and a great middle ground to explore!!

Les charmes de la campagne Normande

Très grand gîte chaleureux et tranquille, dans un superbe coin de la campagne normande. Agréables soupers sur la terrasse avec vue sur le cheval, l'âne, la chèvre et les canards! Lits et chambres très confortables. Au travers les champs, il faisait bon s'y retrouver après nos périples quotidiens; Caen, Bayeux, Falaise, plages du débarquement... On y aurait séjourné quelques jours de plus! Propriétaires accueillants et sympathiques.
