This property is requires a great deal of maintenance and is unsafe
So location is very good in terms of accessing the city but what you get in terms of the property is very different than advertised.
- There was significant water damage to the floors and walls in the bedrooms and mainfloor rooms
- The terrace awing was extremely dirty and had evidence of mold due to lack of cleaning/maintenance
- The decking of the terrace was in extremely poor condition to the point that it was dangerous. Deckboards were loose and soft in many places to the extent that there was a broken board hidden under a rug that my wife fell through!
- The BBQ supplied with the property is an immediate fire hazard in that it is a charcoal kettle grill with no ash/coal catch on the kettle base. In short, should someone actually use the unit there would be a very real potential of hot coals and cinders dropping out of the kettle onto the aforementioned wood decking. I am truly glad my experience and knowledge in this matters informed out decision not to use the unit - someone else may not be so informed and I very much worry about the result.
- Furniture (chairs/sofa) were broken and were either let piled up on the patio (chairs) or were arranged in such a manner as to not immediately show how they were compromised (sofa). This resulted in one of my children falling off the sofa after sitting and leaning backward onto the arm of the sofa within minutes of our arrival.
