Ideal for a small family and the family pet right in the heart of Keswick in the Lake District National Park.. Ground Floor:

Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Washer Dryer

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. No fuel for open fire provided. Cot.. Small, enclosed garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. This delightful holiday property enjoys many of the features self-catering customers are seeking, including a large bathroom with bath and shower cubicle, spacious kitchen/diner, private parking for a medium sized car and a lovely private garden which has the benefit of being enclosed. Situated in a quiet location, yet only 600 yards from Keswick town centre, Fitz Park, the leisure pool and a 10-minute stroll to the lake. From the moment you arrive in Keswick your car can remain on the drive, with access to the fells and fantastic amenities all within walking distance.

Lovely cottage, perfect weekend.

The most spotlessly clean cottage we’ve stayed in! Comfortable, well equipped and more spacious than it looks. Perfect location - quiet street but right in the centre of Keswick. We didn’t move the car all weekend - shops, cafes, restaurants and plenty of walks all on the doorstep. Has an issue with a leak and maintenance were there really quickly to sort it out. Very dog friendly with enclosed yard but ended up leaving our dog at home this time. Would definitely come back. Thank you

Only comment I would make was the front (think it's the front) need some attention, hedge overgrown, flags very slippy when wet, due to algae on the flags. A very nice cottage, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Only downside was the tight parking (which was highlighted in the blurb about the cottage) and the dark lane outside which was unlit at night. Advice to bring a torch would have been helpful at this time of year.

Overall, a very nice cottage & a pleasant stay. No complaints - just a few "even better ifs" Well located. 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. 10 minutes to Booth's / Co-op supermarkets. Private - off the main street. Off street parking space just adequate for a medium sized hatchback - as advertised. Kitchen well equipped. Didn't use the freezer or washer dryer, but nice that they were available. No cooker hood, so not easy to keep the kitchen clear when cooking on the hob. More cupboards / shelves to store dry goods would make it better. Wifi & FreeSat TV were reliable. Limited free power points available & not many near tables / shelves, so phones, tablets ended up on the floor when charging - not ideal. Good shower. No extractor in the bathroom though. Additional hooks or towel rails would be better.
