Family weekend break in Weymouth

Warm comfortable spacious cottage with good facilities. Host provided clean bedding and towels and a “welcome” basket which were much appreciated. Plenty of hot water for showers. We enjoyed our short stay there and would certainly return, perhaps in the warmer weather. We would definitely recommend to others.

We had a great time with Archie, our retriever.

We had a great time with Archie, our retriever. Dog walking was challenging as there are hills all round but it kept us fit even if we did get lost on one occasion! The weather was fair and did not stop the two walks a day! Weymouth is a great seaside town and the trip brought back memories of when I was a child and Mum and Dad drove my three sisters and I down from Yeovil in our old Morris 10 ( back in the 1950's).

Lovely place to stay, the cottage was well equipped, however the king size bed upstairs was quite uncomfortable, and i’d go as far as to say there was a problem with the springs, this definitely needs attention. I would stay again but use one of the other bedrooms, we have the luxury of being able to book a larger property than we need.

A great cottage in a lovely location. Fab for accessing all the main visitor hubs around Dorset. Cottage was very clean and well kitted out. The absolute only thing I would mark it down on was both the two double bed mattresses were really bad. Toppers had been used to obviously try to improve them a little but they didn’t really help much. New mattresses are definitely required!

Absolutely fabulous cottage. The cottage Web photos do not do it justice. In an amazing setting with beautiful walks and views on the doorstep. We had a fantastic week in a 15 out of 10 cottage. With a bonus of unbelievable weather for the end of March. The only negative is unfortunately that we had to leave.
