We had a fantastic holiday, the cottage is well equiped & clean, private parking to the rear, the owners even had a loaf of freshly baked bread in the breadmaker upon our arrival & lots of veg in the fridge & a great welcome pack on the table. There was also some home made slo-gin. The beds are comfortable. We were blessed with great weather all week & enjoyed sitting in the rear garden for morning coffee & a few drinks in the evening. The Triton Inn pub-restaurant is only a 2 minute walk down the road. A great base location to visit places like York, Beverley & the coastal towns. We would highly recommend this cottage, a credit to the owners & would definately consider booking again.

What a dream Pond View Cottage is! The owners were very welcoming to us, helpful and were close by if needed. We received a stunning food hamper full of Yorkshire goodies and we were even greeted by fresh bread baking in the bread maker on arrival!
The setting is beautiful with lots of country walks from the door. There is also a lovely private outside patio area at the back - a real sun trap! - with a brick barbeque and outdoor seating.
The cottage itself is very well equipped, cosy, furnished to an incredible standard and the owners had thought of everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable beds, and the real wood burner would be great to use on a chilly day/night.
The owners also provide unlimited free slots at a local dog walking field (Hunsdale Fields) which is great for people that choose to bring their dog with them (we did).
I cannot rate Pond View Cottage highly enough, we will definitely be returning!

Beautifully renovated cottage with every detail considered.
Beautifully renovated cottage with every detail considered. This is a proper home from home run by people who really care about the total visitor experience. Brantingham is a lovely village and very close to Hull and fairly close to York and seaside towns such as Bridlington. The only thing the village is lacking is a proper pub as the Triton Inn (whilst still nice) is more of a restaurant than cosy pub.

Pond View Cottage is absolutely lovely .
Pond View Cottage is absolutely lovely ... the owners have thought of everything, we wanted for nothing. Everything is top notch and the welcome hamper and other goodies were the best we've ever had. Plenty to explore within a relatively short drive and a great doggie beach only 50 mins away. Would highly recommend. Many thanks also to Catherine & Martin for the free use of their dog walking fields which are less than a 5 minute drive away.

Parking and outdoor area perfect. The use of the dog field was fantastic especially with 2 energetic spaniels. What an amazing set up. Very generous hamper and well equipped kitchen. Also a lovely warm welcome from Catherine on our arrival after a hard and incredibly wet journey. The homemade Sloe Gin was delicious and very welcome.

Pond View was not just spotless rather it was immaculate, the cottage was extremely well equipped and beautifully decorated to the highest modern standard. The enormous welcome basket was really outstanding, and the place was so warm we never put the log fire on the whole week. The large bathroom shower was really so very spectacular that we also never even got around to using the luxurious bath. While the kitchen was superb with the all the outstanding local places to eat we didn't cook a meal at the house or turn on the TV even once with all the books and games on offer. We spent most of the time eating out (extremely well!) and going out all day to view the area my dogs loved their walks. The cottage is in the heart of a truly picturesque village it was tranquil during the day and quite magical at night all illuminated. Now it is a little unfair but we did feel a little uncomfortable with the security cameras and the off road parking was really very difficult with a large car.

We had a wonderful stay at Pond View Cottage.
We had a wonderful stay at Pond View Cottage. The cottage is impeccably finished and has everything you require for your stay, including very generous welcome package. The owners were welcoming and responsive and we felt as if the cottage were our own for our week in it. Our 18 month old loved it, especially the toys that were left for her to play with during our stay. I would equally recommend this cottage to families with babies, children or couples of all ages. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic holiday cottage in a beautiful location, my wife and I have stayed in many highly rated cottages around the UK and Pond View is up there with the best, the owners Catherine and Martin could not be more helpful, their advice on the area and little touches in the cottage, like freshly baked bread on arrival along with a substantial hamper provided was exceptional, we will definitely be visiting again, hopefully with our bicycles in tow
