Internally the cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Unfortunately the location of the property next to a busy A road coupled with single glazed windows allowed us to be disturbed by the traffic both morning and evening times and prevented us from enjoying sitting outside. Dess Lodge is a lovely property in a good geographical location but, being alongside the main road, was sometimes noisy. There were just a few small issues but, on the whole, we enjoyed our stay in a clean unique property that was very comfortable. Very helpful owners.
