Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds
Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating (underfloor in open plan living space and bathroom), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair.. Lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. York and Harrogate make interesting days out from these lovingly converted barn which are just a mile from the centre of Knaresborough. Lovingly restored to provide independent, co-ordinated and very comfortable year-round accommodation, The Stable and The Dairy are tucked away in a courtyard where visitors can sit peacefully listening to the tumbling water from the attractive water feature, and The Cartshed enjoys a private garden enclosed by a rustic fence. Enjoy extensive walks from the owners’ farmland to the River Nidd. The bustling market town of Knaresborough is well served with shops, pubs, restaurants and a Wednesday market. Famous for Mother Shipton’s Cave and Petrifying Well, Knaresborough boasts an interesting castle, painted by JMW Turner, perched high on the cliff top. Stroll along the riverside promenade, relax with an ice cream or hire a boat and spend an afternoon ‘messing about on the river’! Just upstream visit Nidd Gorge, a great place for walks and wildlife watching. Explore the elegant spa town of Harrogate, 4 miles, with its Royal Pump Room, restored Turkish baths, theatre, wonderful shops and tearooms (with Betty’s heading the list). For a good day out, the medieval city of York is just half an hour’s drive away. Steeped in history and packed with attractions including the iconic minster and Jorvik Centre, York appeals to all ages. The Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and the coastal resorts of Scarborough and Whitby are all easily accessible. Shop and restaurant 1 mile, pub ¼ mile.
