The property is a little peace of heaven. Saw so many birds and wildlife around the property. Location for us to move on to PEI was perfect. Selim as a host was beyond helpful and check in was a breeze

Tranquil quiet getaway

We had a lovely time at this cozy cottage. We wanted a quiet cabin in the woods to watch birds, go for a walk on the beach, and play board games - and Selim's place definitely met our needs. The beds were comfortable and the place was well stocked for our comfort. There were even extra board games to play. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We LOVED our stay at this magical little cabin. Selim, the owner, was so welcoming and did not miss one single detail in figuring out what his guests might need or want. I loved the deck on the water with lights at night. When we had rainy weather, we enjoyed the sun room. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Check in was simple and Selim showed us around and answered all our questions and remained available throughout our stay. Full kitchen supplies and brand new barbeque for our meals. But the best part was the location - a cabin in the woods with pond for me and a private beach with access to the ocean (warm water by the way) just a minutes walk away for the rest of the family. Thank you Selim for creating such a cozy place to stay!!

Perfect for a beach getaway

We had a great time at this cottage. It's perfectly located near the beach, which we almost had all for ourselves. Selim is a great host. He made us feel very welcome, and gave us a great tour of the property to ensure that we had an optimal time there.

The cottage was beautiful and very clean. I loved sitting by the pond and watching the birds. I even saw deer :) The beach was not far and very private. Everything we needed was available in the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back. Thank you! Loved it!

Wonderful time

Four lovely days at the cabin and on the beach, as well as day trips to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. Host was available but hands-off - perfect! The cabin and site were as advertised - lovely - and all of us had a wonderful time. Recommended!

What a find. Beautiful scenery even in the winter and a minute walk to the beach. This place has everything you could need and the host was so accommodating. Would 100% stay again. A great place to unplug and unwind!

Paradise

What a beautiful oasis. I do have to say my favorite spot was the lower deck. So peaceful and watching the birds was entertaining. Kitchen is so fully equipped I was able to feed 14 guest. Thanks again Selim. Your hospitality was beyond.

Peaceful haven in perfect location

Our family of four had the most wonderful stay. Selim was just the right balance of attentive and near invisibility. The cabin has everything you could hope to need - from fresh water and kitchen amenities, to charging stations and internet access, to board games and binoculars. He has thought of everything. We enjoyed a lovely campfire and Selim made sure to let us know about local treasures that made our trip exceptional. We just hope we are lucky enough to make it back one day. Thank you!

Amazing Stay

We had a wonderful week. Selim has thought of everything one would ever need to be comfortable and content. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. It can be hard to find a place to vacation with teens and young adults that everyone is happy. This totally fit the bill. We would love to visit again. On a slightly humorous note, our 21 year old son became completely enamored with bird watching and spent hours on the deck with the binoculars that Selim had provided. This is the last thing I ever thought my son would become obsessed with and I love it.

Two lovely summer days

First, the host takes great pride in his property and making sure guests have everything they need. This was very appreciated by my family. Second, the location is picturesque - next to protected pond with various bird species and a short walk to the beach. Lastly, the cottage itself is perfectly equipped and we all slept well. We also enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the firepit! Many thanks for sharing this space with my family!

View of Paradise

The chalet is set in a beautiful location overlooking a tranquil pond. Short walk to a private beach. Perfect spot to relax. Selim supplies everything you can possibly need to enjoy your stay. He is always available by phone to answer any questions. The stairs to the second floor bedrooms are quite steep. This should be considered if you have any mobility issues or frequent trips to the bathroom at night. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Wonderful Vacation Spot

This cottage is a comfortable, rustic vacation spot in an incredible location. There are nearby public beaches and restaurants, but really there is no need to go further than walking distance! With access to a nearly private beach and a thoughtfully stocked kitchen, if you have a swimsuit and some groceries you’re set for your vacation! Our 5-yr old vacationer was LOVING the quiet dirt roads for use of his bicycle and the beach was perfect for him as well - shallow, calm, and the hermit crabs were very entertaining. We got to watch Kingfishers diving, and the sounds of the frogs in the evening on the lower deck overlooking the pond with the outside light strings was serene and calming. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing The cabin itself is very clean, highly stocked with all the essentials and then some…… the outside is beautiful and well maintained. The pond at night is so beautiful and peaceful, also a wonderful place to have your morning coffee. The private lane to the ocean is a very short walk and the beach is beautiful and peaceful and not over crowded. Selim, the owner is an absolute gem, helpful, caring, he has a heart of gold and it shows, if you are looking for an amazing place that has everything including peace, this is where your mind gets right!! Staying along the Northumberland coast in Spring

This is a wonderful place to stay. The host, Selim, was gracious and attentive. I sought something a little more than where my daughter and her friends could visit during a work-cation. I have not rented a whole house before versus a room or a condo environment. The quaint, picturesque location close to the beach that can sleep 5. It is great for families. One note, two of the bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs are exposed, open. Supervision of younger children is needed around the stairs. Other than food shopping in nearby Cap Pelé or Shediac- this has all amenities- fully functioning kitchen, laundry facilities, soaking tub and shower, and Wi-Fi. Note for cell phones not using wi-fi, the coverage may be weak. It was fun to watch the birds ranging from blue jays, geese, and Pheasants strolling by. The wood burning fireplace kept the cottage warm. It rained a lot during my stay, but even watching the world outside through ample windows was great.

A charming, peaceful chalet

I am going to steal another reviewer's line: Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! While it seems too good to be true, the description of his property is spot on. The location is great for day trips along the coast and Prince Edward Island and even better, for relaxing on the beach or on the deck at the pond. The pond deck is a great place to have a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine after dinner. It is so restful to watch and listen to the birds. We were very entertained by "Reg", the diving kingfisher. The sunsets at the beach are beautiful and so peaceful. The chalet is very clean and well maintained. It is thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need, including a washer and dryer, which I appreciate. Th beds were very comfortable. The chalet truly had all the comforts of home. Selim is a great host who clearly wants to provide a superb experience for his guests. Communication with Selim is easy before, during, and after your stay. He provides a personal greeting upon arrival, along with a nice tour of the property. He is nearby if you need anything but is not intrusive and honors his guests' privacy. We had the opportunity to talk to Selim a bit, an experience for which we are very grateful. We are hoping to return some day and I would highly recommend this chalet as a vacation spot. In fact, I already have! Selim, thank you for the wonderful experience!

Notre hôte nous à bien accueilli et fait visiter notre chalet et son environnement. L’endroit était idéal pour notre famille avec de bonnes commodités. C’était calme et la vue sur l’étang est relaxante et agréable. La plage a quelques minutes de marche est immense et tranquille. Je recommande vivement.
