Situated within the heart of the Dulais Valley at the edge of the village of Crynant, these barns have been converted to a good standard, with splendid views of March Hywel Mountain and numerous walks directly onto the mountain behind. Bwthyn Cerrig (ref W41454) is semi-detached, whilst The Old Stables (ref W42528) stands detached. Situated on a working farm with the owner’s friendly dogs, each property has shared use of the on-site facilities including an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Cefn Coed Coal Museum, Aberdulais Waterfalls and activities such as golfing, driving ranges, archery, paint balling and quad biking, are all available within a three mile radius. The famous Dan Yr Ogof Caves, and Craig y Nos Country Park are just 10 miles. The magnificent Gower Coast is approximately 18 miles and the Brecon Beacons are within 35 miles. Swansea town centre and Cardiff, both with excellent shopping, bars and clubs, are within driving distance. An ideal holiday base. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.
Bwthyn Cerrig (W41454) can be booked together with The Old Stables (W42528) to accommodate up to 11 guests.

Feb Mini break

The overall experience of staying in the holiday cottage was brilliant…Rowina and Phil made us feel very welcomed and the on-site facilities made the stay even better. The kitchen and bedrooms are well stocked with equipment. The house is well kitted out although we struggled with the heating the fire was a really nice feature for us to sit around as a family and enjoy. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and we had ample time to use the facilities including the gym over our 4 day break. However the sauna was not in operation. The quad biking experience was the best attraction of our break so thank you to Phil and his daughter for taking us out. We also had a trip out to Longford falls which was a 10 min drive away. The national trust falls within 5 mins drive was closed for refurb so again we walked around the falls along the canal near to the cottages. We look forward to booking again when the weather is better so we can enjoy the garden. The children also played in the park which is all within the secured area. The children loved the dogs who seem very loyal to the cottages and farmhouse..almost like people..

Brilliant long weekend away

Fabulous property finished to a high standard in a beautiful setting. The pool and hot tub were great for us all while we were at the property but the brilliant location meant we also spent much of our time out and about in the area doing various activities the area has to offer.

Had a wonderful holiday.

Had a wonderful holiday. The cottage was incredibly comfortable, clean and well equipped. The farm lots of fun. The pool, sauna, hot tub, animals were huge hits. Beautiful location and loads to do nearby. Many thanks for a brilliant holiday.

absolutely perfect! The cottage was beautiful, the facilities were fantastic I have 4 children aged 18, 15, 12 and 9 and they loved the pool and the hot tub and the youngest one really loved the pigs and horses and the farm dogs were also a huge hit especially Belle and Daisy. We were only a short drive away from beautiful beaches, city life in both Cardiff and Swansea and beautiful waterfalls and the coal mine museum literally just down the road it was perfect, the fact that the cottage had wifi was a massive bonus for the children too. We can't thank the owners enough for all their hospitality especially the lovely welcome hamper. We will most definitely be back.
