Kitchen area: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge (Small Freezer Compartment), Dishwasher. Electric underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and stairgate. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Short stroll to the beach.. In the centre of Filey is this former fisherman’s workshop converted by the friendly owners. Offering contemporary, modern accommodation with every need catered for and just a short stroll to the 5 mile stretch of sandy beach. Filey, with a mixture of shops, inns and tea rooms, is a friendly Edwardian seaside town just 8 miles from Scarborough and Bridlington. The Heritage Coast of Yorkshire is surrounded by historic homes, halls and castles, all within driving distance. With easy access to the North York Moors National Park, this is an ideal holiday location at any time of year. Scarborough offers the Sea Life Centre, Peasholm Park and the Rotunda Museum. Bondville Model Village and the Bayle Museum at Bridlington. Shops, pub and restaurant 250 yards.

Spent only a weekend here but wish it could have been longer.

Spent only a weekend here but wish it could have been longer. A unique, somewhat quirky accommodation offering spacious rooms in a perfect location. We managed to get our Suzuki S Cross on the drive with careful manoeuvres but if you keep over to one side it’s fine.

We loved our stay at the Bait Shed.

We loved our stay at the Bait Shed. We were told it would be difficult to park a 4x4 but we managed to park our Land Rover Discovery in the parking space. By opening both doors to the Bait Shed, unloading luggage before parking and then shimmying across from the driver's seat to the Bait Shed open doors once in the parking space - we managed!No need to drive within Filey as everything is close to hand. A short walk to the seafront but a steep part uphill on the way back for anyone who struggles with walking.
