The traditional architecture of Castilla y León, Valladolid: Environment and territorial planning, 1988. Vol. I, pp. 22, 182 et seq.), Is one of the most complete sets of architecture in the high valleys of the Ebro, an example of dense and compact architecture with a wealth of formal solutions.
Of the parochial church of Our Lady of the Assumption it emphasizes the Romanesque construction of which the complete southern wall remains constituting one of the most important sets of all the Burgos Romanesque and one of the most refined works of the teachers linked to the world of Silos ( See: Encyclopedia of Romanesque Castile and Leon. Vol. I. Burgos. Aguilar de Campoó: Santa María la Real Foundation, 2002, pp. 139-148). The cover is a Romanesque jewel; It boasts careful styling and rare perfection. The eardrum deserves singular attention for its exquisite execution and for being one of the most elegant compositions of Hispanic Romanesque (See: description in
