It boasts 5 bedrooms,3,5 bathrooms, 2 fully equipped,modern kitchens,large entertainment areas,a feature fireplace and a classic piano. The surrounding landscaping is ideal for outside dining with 2 BBQ areas and a pizza oven. It is also only a 5 min drive to the finest beach and a 10 min drive to the centre of town,lake,museum etc
Overlooking Agios Nikoloas with spectacular views of mountain, sea and the town, this large spacious & spotless home has all the features and luxuries you need for a blissfully relaxed holiday....including a classic piano.
The lush landscaped garden with enormous sparkling pool and BBQ areas with wood oven is surrounded by sumptuous lounging/entertainment areas in bright Cretan sunshine or under ample shady pergolas.
You might not want to leave this holiday haven, but if you do, the popular sandy beach of Almiros is only 1 km away and the centre of the town is only 3Km away.

All in all a very nice vacation and a super kind landlady, so definitely a recommendation

The garden and pool area is very relaxing and the rest of the villa is very comfortable furnished. The landlady even booked for us a shuttle from the airport to the villa and was very committed to support us.

I came on holiday to Crete in '86 .... fell in love with beautiful Agios Nikolaos and decided to stay for some time. 38 years later I am still here with my entire family who followed and we have never regretted it!
In the meantime I met and married my husband Odysseas and we have one son. We own one of the biggest ladies and gents clothing and shoes stores in town. I love working with tourists. I love meeting people from all over the world and speaking different languages. And now my new venture is renting out our villa which I think will open new horizons....I look forward to visiting my guests' countries too and I thoroughly enjoy helping them discover the beauties of Crete!

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with Eastern Crete and chose to live in the beautiful town of Agios Nikolaos. It is quaint and picturesque with its unique lake surrounded by taverns and cafes, the many little shops and boutiques all over town and the multitude of restaurants with fantastic food!

There are many lovely beaches with calm,crystal clear blue waters that make it enticing to swim really far out!
The area offers so much outdoor activity,both in the mountains and the sea. It is extremely safe and the people are friendly and honest. The climate is ideal with much sun all year round and the winters are especially mild.

What makes this property unique

Villa Odyssia is situated in a quiet area away from the hustle of the buzzing town. However, it is still very close. It is a scenic 35 minute walk via Almyros Beach or a 5 minute drive into town.
It overlooks the entire town of Agios Nikolaos with stunning views of both mountains and sea.
The villa itself is very big, built on 3 floors, with 5 spacious bedrooms and open plan living areas. It also has a piano, ample free parking and
free wi-fi.

It is surrounded by sprawling lawns, trees and shrubs. The downstairs garden hosts the big, sparkling private pool and loungers plus a huge outdoor eating area with music system. There are both gas and wood/coal BBQs.
The upstairs garden also has eating areas, BBQ and a pizza oven!

Villa Odyssia is conducive for big families and/or groups of friends because there is much space both indoors and outdoors to spread out and not feel confined.
The peace and quiet, the open spaces, the beautiful pool and the exceptional views make it the ideal holiday home for an unforgettable
and relaxing holiday in Crete!
