About this property
The Main House of Torre de Campos. Tranquility and in full Nature
We offer you the possibility of enjoying the tranquility of living in the middle of nature surrounded by all the comforts.
Traditionally, in this area of Aragon, agricultural holdings, consisting of one or more dwellings with their corresponding extension of land and separated from the urban area to which they belong, are called Torres as in other areas they are known as Masías, Casonas , Cortijos etc.
Located in the center of the Comarca del Campo de Borja, in the town of Ainzón, in the province of Zaragoza, a few kilometers from the Moncayo Natural Park, the La Loteta reservoir, near Tarazona, is "Torre de Campos"
Located in the municipality of Ainzón and at a distance of about a thousand meters from its urban area, it is made up of two annexed houses built in the 18th century (Madoz in his encyclopedic dictionary of 1845 already makes an extensive and detailed description of it when dealing with the Villa de Ainzón); the main house and the “del torrero” house (formerly the one in charge of caring for and maintaining the property) today destined for tourist accommodation.
Of an area of about ten hectares and dedicated to the cultivation of olive and almond trees, it includes a large garden area with specimens of ancient trees and shrubs dating from the time of the construction of the house, an area with gazebo and barbecue (available for lunch and dinner outdoor) spring with raft for irrigation, orchard to grow our own vegetables in a biological way and corral where to contemplate different species of domestic animals in semi-freedom as well as an open-air ethnological museum where you can see ancient tools and farming tools used in the past. rural life.
The house destined for tourist accommodation is an example of Aragonese civil architecture from the 18th century with a double-arched gallery, a façade of exposed stone masonry panels joined by three courses and brick pillars, topped with an eaves at three heights combining bricks flat and diagonal, access with a semicircular arch and balconies with their typical finish, having as their only ornament the family coats of arms and the two wolf heads that, like gargoyles, refer to the legend that weighs on this place. On the roof a brick pillar with a weather vane topped with a cross, give evidence of the private chapel that is inside.
On two floors, for full rent (the client will always have the complete and exclusive house, whether there are two or eight people staying) it has an entrance patio, dining room, living area, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and on the first floor: Living room, a Suite with a double bed and where it is possible to place an extra single bed, two double rooms with a double bed, one single and a bathroom with a hydromassage bath. It has a private terrace for exclusive use.
In addition to the activities that we can do in this place (walks, lunches and dinners outdoors, living with animals, growing vegetables, etc.) there is the possibility of visiting a winery in the area, excursions to nearby tourist places in Moncayo, Tarazona, Borja, the La Loteta reservoir, Bardenas Reales and in general all the towns and places in the area.
All this in the tranquility and privacy that a place like this offers us.
