About this property

Charming cottage in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon

Cosy and tranquil cottage in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon, with theatre connections and a lovely sunny garden to enjoy in summertime.

This pretty Victorian timber framed house is in the perfect location for a theatre trip and exploring all the historical sights.

Two minutes walk to Shakespeare's Birthplace, ten minutes walk to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, waterfront shops and numerous restaurants and bars to choose from.
Beautiful canal tow path walk on the doorstep of the property and the Welcome Hills for a lovely nature walk.

On the waterfront you can hire a boat or join a guided boat tour along the river Avon. By night time why not book a meal on the restaurant boat 'the Countess of Evesham' and take an evening trip along the river? Or take a guided ghost walk?

Other town centre attractions are the Mad Museum, Falstaff House and the butterfly farm.

15 minutes drive to Warwick Castle - a great family day out.

A stones throw away from the idyllic and picturesque Cotswolds villages by car, such as Borton-on-the water, Broadway and Burford. Also there are fantastic places to visit such as the Cotswolds Lavender Farm, Cotswolds Gin Distillery and Cotswold Wildlife park.
